Are All Marxists Complete Morons?

It used to be preached as gospel that Marxists and radical leftists were intellectually superior to the rest of us.

Imbued with extraordinary perception and insight, Marxists, we were taught, saw and understood complex sociological and political issues that we conservatives simply could not grasp.

Mainstream media loved to compare former President Ronald Reagan to Soviet Leader Mikael Gorbachev as a perfect example of conservative cowboy versus urbane liberal intellectual.

President Reagan was, according to media, a lower intelligence chowder head who, when not endangering all of humanity with wrong headed notions from the Oval Office, was wielding a deadly axe to fell innocent, unprotected trees on his ranch in California.

Mikael Gorbachev, on the other hand, was a gifted intellectual and wise practitioner of communism, the preferred ideology among the pseudo-intellectual gangsters who ran newspapers and broadcast media in America.
