American Idol: Scotty McCreery Beats Lauren Alaina; Becomes 1st Latino American Idol!

May 25, 2011: American Idol winner Scotty McCreery poses in the press room during Fox's 'American Idol' season 10 finale results show held at Nokia Theatre LA Live in Los Angeles, Calif.

The votes are in! The phone lines closed! America has voted and Scotty McCreery is Season’s tenth’s American Idol!

With a record-breaking 122 million votes cast for both contestants, McCreery edged out Lauren Alaina in the show’s finale, becoming the first Latino to win in American Idol.

The two hour program replete with explosive performances by huge stars and Idol’s ‘Top 24’ girls and boys, was held at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles, Calif.

As American Idol host Ryan Seacrest received the golden envelope with the results enclosed, the tension grew between Alaina, who looked elegant as ever in a bright, yellow cocktail like dress, and McCreery.

McCreery that sounds totally latino! I thought it was called "American Idol"
I guess they changed the name this season! Fox Latino "You Suck!"

Just like Obama receiving the Nobel which he didnt do a damn thing for. It was really a racial award to promote a particularly favored race...

How low can they sink? Its anyone's guess.

FYI--Scotty is NOT latino. Where in the heck did they get THAT idea?! In person, he looks like Opie Taylor!!

Edit--I see that his grandmother was Puerto Rican. Who CARES?! Only FOX Latino who is going to latch onto anything they can-- This boy is as American as apple pie!!

Nomas, yes he is!!! I don't watch it either, but have followed how he was doing. He sounds like a really wonderful young man and he is giving God the glory so I am glad he won!

Okay, just so EVERYONE remembers this important fact, ALIPAC does not have a problem with LEGAL latinos or Hispanics or people of any race who come to this country legally, the only ones we have issue with are illegal aliens of all races who come to the United States ILLEGALLY and cause hardship of all kinds for Americans of all races including Hispanic Americans.
