Nevada Rancher Cliven Bundy is locked in a standoff with the federal Bureau of Land Management over illegal cattle grazing, endangered tortoises and property rights. It gets even better…
The fight involves a 600,000-acre area under BLM control called Gold Butte, near the Utah border. The is the habitat of the protected desert tortoise, and the land has been off-limits for cattle since 1998.
Five years before that, when grazing was legal, Bundy stopped paying federal fees for the right. Bundy stopped paying grazing fees in 1993. He said he didn’t have to because his Mormon ancestors worked the land since the 1880s, giving him rights to the land.
“We own this land,” he said, not the feds. He said he is willing to pay grazing fees but only to Clark County, not BLM.
“Years ago, I used to have 52 neighboring ranchers,” he said. “I’m the last man standing. How come? Because BLM regulated these people off the land and out of business.”
Nevada, where various federal agencies manage or control more than 80 percent of the land, is among several Western states where ranchers have challenged federal land ownership.

(NaturalNews) In 1989, members of China's Democracy Movement staged a massive protest in Tiananmen Square. In response, the communist Chinese government commanded near-total control over the nation's media while dispatching heavily armed soldiers and tanks to surround and intimidate the protesters.

Today, the U.S. government has dispatched hundreds of heavily armed soldiers, snipers and helicopters to lay siege to a ranch near Bunkerville Nevada, called the "Bundy Ranch," where the Bundy family has been running cattle since the 1870's. In 1949, the federal Bureau of Land Management was created, and in the 1990's the BLM claimed (false) authority to start charging "grazing fees" for Bundy's cattle. Today, the BLM claims the Bundy family owes over $1 million to the government.

Feds engage in Chinese-style brutality and violence

In order to collect that $1 million and lay seize the land the Bundy family has been using for generations, the BLM in engaged in the very same kind of brutality and threat of violence that the Chinese government used against its protesters in 1989. I fact, similarities between the two are numerous:

• The mainstream media now functions as a total government mouthpiece, broadcasting lies and propaganda such as the false claim that "a protester kicked one of the BLM's security dogs." (In fact, a BLM officer verbally commanded the dog to attack the protesters.) This is similar to the Chinese government directly controlling virtually the entire Chinese press.

• The massive show of unjustified force, such as positioning government snipers on hilltops around the Bundy ranch, with line-of-sight inside the Bundy home so that shots can be taken to kill the Bundy family.

• The deployment of absurd "overkill" hardware: Tanks in the case of China, and government helicopters in the case of the Bundy ranch in Nevada. It has also been reported by Pete Santilli and Adam Kokesh that BLM has hired Blackwater-style operatives to don BLM badges and wade into the scene as soldiers for hire.

• The intimidation and silencing of local law enforcement. In the case of the Bundy ranch in Nevada, the local Sheriff of Clark County has the constitutional authority to arrest all BLM personnel for felony theft of cattle and trespassing. Yet he has been intimidated into silence, thereby abandoning his own constituents. In China, officials who were friendly to the protesters were demoted, purged or kidnapped and killed by the Chinese government.

• The Chinese government declared Martial Law and arrested anyone they wished. Similarly in Nevada, the BLM has declared a state of effective Martial Law by threatening to arrest anyone who sets foot on the desert dirt. The BLM also set up a "First Amendment Zone" and threatened to arrest anyone who strayed outside the zone who wished to express their First Amendment rights. Dave Bundy, son of Cliven Bundy was brutalized and arrested for taking photographs on a public highway.(1)

Liberal media openly supports use of government violence against cowboys

So far, the federal government has stolen over 350 head of cattle from the Bundy family. Cattle theft is a felony crime in the State of Nevada. The federal government, in fact, began this standoff by arriving on scene with heavy weapons and then proceeding to engage in multiple felony crimes.

The federal government believes it has the right to do anything it wants to anybody it wants merely because it wields the most firepower. The federal government utterly lacks any legitimate authority to seize land which, under Common Law precedent, has been worked, protected and ranched by the Bundy family for over a century. The U.S. Constitution strictly forbids the federal government from interfering in state business. This limitation has been willfully ignored, of course, by the feds.


The feds drew blood by shooting Dave Bundy with a Taser. A video shows Dave smacking the taser probes away from his body in self defense. This show of blood and violence against conservative ranchers is all but encouraged by the liberal media by their silence. If this were happening in any other country, the U.S. media would cover it as international news.

The media's silence on this story is an endorsement of federal brutality against ranchers. If this were taking place in Russia, North Korea or China, it would be international news. But because it's taking place in America, the U.S. media has defaulted to near-silence as a way to cover for the Obama administration which apparently can do no wrong, not even when aiming government snipers at American families.

The liberal media appears to wholly endorse these violent actions, including the brutality which has been exercised against innocent protesters, by trying to downplay the reality of the situation. The Washington Post, for example, characterized this massive armed siege as "government wanting to move a few cattle, and some people aren't happy." That sort of downplaying of reality smacks of a government-run press publishing propaganda rather than factual reporting.

Without question, if Cliven Bundy happened to be openly gay -- as in Brokeback Mountain style -- mainstream media coverage would be entirely different. The cultural narrative now being pushed by TV shows, movies and the media is that it is perfectly acceptable to brutalize cowboys and conservatives, but not at all acceptable to even criticize those who choose alternative gay lifestyles. (I will even be verbally assaulted for merely bringing up the comparison!) Somehow, members of the Bundy family being "cowboys" makes them automatically suspect in the distorted eyes of the liberal "anti-liberty" media.

I mention this because it is important to understand why the liberal media is intentionally standing by and doing nothing while innocent Americans are brutalized and threatened at gunpoint. In the minds of the lamestream media, ranchers, conservatives, meat producers and gun owners all deserve to die in violent acts perpetrated against them by a righteous government that controls all land and all natural resources. Therefore, the federal government must be doing the right thing in Nevada, they figure, and anyone who takes a stand in defense of a meat-producing cowboy is obviously not to be taken seriously, they imply.

Shame on the mainstream media -- the propaganda arm of the U.S. government -- for ignoring this Tiananmen-style assault on fundamental American freedoms. This is not the America we all know! This is a nation of government tyranny and media complicity to silence the truth and destroy fundamental freedoms.

Connections behind the tense situation in Clark County, Nevada regarding the aggressive seizure of cattle from Cliven Bundy, a private rancher who used public land for grazing purposes appears to have a direct pathway beyond Senator Majority Leader Harry Reid; involving the Obama administration and international projects directed under Agenda 21 initiatives.
Media reports state that in March, Reid applied “pressure [to] Nevada’s largest power company, NV Energy, to sign up as [ENN Energy Group’s] first customer.”
This deal with ENN and Reid is worth $5 billion for a “solar farm and panel manufacturing plant [to be constructed] in the southern Nevada desert.”
In conjunction with this accord, Reid’s son Rory Reid, who is a “prominent Las Vegas [lawyer] that is representing ENN”, and focused on making clean energy projects a specialty at their firm, is assisting the Chinese solar energy corporation in acquiring “a 9,000-acre (3,600-hectare) desert site . . . well below appraised value from Clark County.”
Interestingly, Neil Kornze, “former senior adviser” to Reid was named the director of the Bureau of Land Management (BLM).
For the last 2 decades, the Bundy family in Clark County, Nevada has been involved in judicial battles with the BLM over their grazing rights on public land.
The BLM obtained a court order to begin removing Bundy’s cattle from public land under trespassing laws and even was instrumental in the revocation of permits previously held by the Bundy family for multiple generations.
Four years ago, the Obama administration reversed a policy enacted by the former George W. Bush administration which released millions of under developed acres of land to be allocated to federal wilderness protection.
Then secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar commented that this reversal was righting a policy that “frankly never should have happened.”
With the assistance of environmental groups lobbying for the restoration of wilderness areas for protection, the Obama administration began reviewing an estimated 220 million acres for the BLM to assert oversight for under nomination as a “Wild Lands” protected area.
The non-governmental organization (NGO) The Wildlands Project (WP) is a focusing of the American landscape in preservation for “future generations to inherit a continent rich in wildlife, with plenty of room for all species to roam.”
The WP is purposed with bringing American lands back to “rewilding” which translates to massive areas of land being placed under restrictions called “conservation easements”, “scenic byways”, “protected areas”, “biosphere reserves”, and “wildlife refuges”.
The science-based agenda of WP has developed the solution to their problems by dividing up North America into “four Continental Wildways [of] large protected corridors of land running coast to coast . . . throughout Canada, the US and Mexico.”

• The Eastern Wildway extending northward from the Everglades along the Appalachians to the Arctic
• The Western Wildway spanning the continent from Mexico, through the Rockies, to Alaska
• The Pacific Wildway running from Baja to Alaska
• The Boreal Wildway running west-east from Alaska to the Canadian Maritimes across the forest roof of North America

The wildways are “constructed by protecting core areas connected to one another by corridors or linkages. They are essentially mosaics of connected public and private lands that provide habitat and safe passageways for wildlife to travel freely from place to place.”
Armed with detailed measures for land use under a new plan, the BLM began designating wild land areas with the assistance of the public planning process (PPP).
This set off warning bells to ranchers who believed this scheme was intending to destroy rural communities.
Those fears were confirmed with the released of leaked documents outlining how the Obama administration had chosen 14 sites in 9 states “for possible presidential monument declarations.”
Areas in states that were given this special designation include:
• Colorado
• Utah
• New Mexico
• California
• Arizona
• Oregon
• Washington State
• Nevada
One purpose for this land-grab initiative appears to be for the undisturbed agenda of oil corporations with the deal struck in 2003 that allowed the removal of “protections for 2.6 million acres” in Utah in order that “drilling, mining and other commercial uses” on this protected land could go on.
In addition to the wild land designation initiative, the Obama administration is also behind the secretary of the Interior, Sally Jewell’s announcement that “two solar energy projects located near the Nevada-California border that are expected to supply 550 megawatts of renewable energy, enough to power about 170,000 homes, and support more than 700 jobs through construction and operations.”
Jewell explained: “When President Obama first took office in 2009, there were no solar projects approved on public lands, and no process in place to move forward the hundreds of applications pending from businesses that wanted to harness renewable energy to help power our nation. With today’s milestone of 50 utility-scale renewable energy projects approved on public lands since our standing start in 2009, and with a number of those already producing energy for the nation’s electric grid, our clean energy future is bright.”
This scheme reallocates 2,400 acres of public land in Nevada for the use of Stateline Solar Farm Project (SSFP) and the Silver State South Solar Project (SSSP) to build corporate infrastructure within the state.
The role of the BLM is to secure this land for corporate interests and ultimately Agenda 21 initiatives in conjunction with “other federal, state and local agencies.”
Komze commented on Jewell’s announcement: ““These solar projects reflect exemplary cooperation between the Bureau of Land Management and other federal, state and local agencies, enabling a thorough environmental review and robust mitigation provisions. Secretary Jewell’s commitment to a landscape-level approach represents a responsible balance between the need for renewable energy and our mandate to protect the public’s natural resources.”

The conflict came to an end yesterday, although no one involved thinks it will really end until the BLM and the land confiscations really stop. Although the celebrations came and the cows returned....no one will stop watching ...

This is a telling interview on how the BLM thinks... If you think these people work for you and abide by the constitution you better think twice, it only works when it is in their favor...The Sheriff finally showed up and Reid, Titus, and Horseford made statements...I was up near their yesterday and you couldn't even get near the Bundy Ranch the major highway was also so jammed up that it took hours to get through there...

Dan Love, BLM Special Agent-in-Charge, assigned to the Bundy Ranch Standoff was secretly recorded, on April 10th, while on duty issuing threats to on-the-scene reporter Pete Santilli from Guerrilla Media who was also issuing threats of Citizen's Arrest while seeking peaceful resolution and a de-escalation of the unfolding event.

The first voice you hear in this audio is of Pete Santilli asking, "Where's the cattle?"

The next voice, the lower voice is of Dan Love from BLM. Some of the highlights of the recording, transcribed (this transcripted EDITED for length and continuity, listen to the actual audio if you want every single word).

Santilli: "We want zero conflict. You know, confrontational, nose to nose..." And then later, "Are we going to be here screaming at you, and you're gonna be tasing, are you gonna do that type of confrontation. What we are trying to do is to completely de-escalate, 100%."

Santilli: "What we're going to ask for to de-escalate and to make sure we are not in confrontation with you... we want to let you know that we're going to come here and it's going to be non-negotiable what we believe in, and what we believe is the right thing to do."

Dan Love: "We have two federal court orders, and if you interfere, you will be arrested. If you impede and interfere, you will be taken into custody."

Santilli: "Tell DC Justice [Eric Holder] this is non-negotiable... but if you choose to go face to face and people get hurt, then we are going to hold you personally accountable."

Dan Love: "And I will hold you legally accountable. And I guarantee that the Constitution is on my side and not that side... Your Constitutions aren't decided on the dirt... you can fight that argument from jail."

Santilli: "It's not gonna be a fight, it's gonna be a non-negotiable terms, peacefully. If you bring violence..."

Dan Love: "If you interfere, if you impede, you will be arrested. I don't know how you plan on arresting me, but good luck with that."

Santilli: "There are gonna be some law enforcement officials who are gonna be going to jail."

Dan Love: "Yeah, don't do that. That's not gonna end well for ya. That doesn't happen. And again, I've seen your numbers right now, you'd better hope that 10,000 show up..."

Dan Love: "You're telling me you're gonna show up and arrest officers? That's not gonna happen, Mr. Santilli."

Santilli: "If anyone is unconstitutional, is not following to abide by their oath to the U.S. Constitution, they are going to be arrested including the Sheriff of this county."

Dan Love: "Okay, you start with him, go arrest Mr. Gillespie, and once you accomplish that you come back..."

Santilli: "He will be incarcerated if he fails to uphold his oath to the U.S. Constitution... he will go to jail."

Dan Love: "I'm telling you right now I'm putting YOU on warning as the messenger, if you violate, if you impede, if you interfere with two lawful court orders, you will be prosecuted, you will be arrested."

Santilli: "They are unlawful court orders.... I did not come here to do anything but to give you the opportunity to prevent a scenario where you're going to make a decision to cause harm to people."

Dan Love: "We're lawfully here! Do you see all these signs? You're in an enclosed area, you're on federal land..."

Santilli: "It's not federal land."

Dan Love: "It is federal land. I am positive."

Santilli: "I'll bet you lunch."

Dan Love: "Mr. Santilli, if you were right, I wouldn't have a job. So you know what? Be right. Get it changed, and then I'm happy not to wear this little gold shield..."

Santilli: "Do you know how dangerous it is for you to run around with a gun and a badge with what you just told me?... That you actually believe that you have the Constitution, and the law behind you, and the entitlement and you have a badge and a gun?"

Dan Love: "If you come unlawfully, to impede or interfere, you will be arrested. Non-negotiable."
