12 indicted in alleged marijuana ring

Ten Tucson-area residents have been indicted in connection with a marijuana-distribution ring that operated for more than five years, authorities said Friday.
Two others from Glendale and Gilbert were also named in the indictment, which was returned Wednesday, according to a news release from the U.S. Attorney's Office in Arizona.
The defendants are facing charges of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute marijuana, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, and aiding and abetting, the news release said. They are:
