O.K. Baby Boomers here is how it goes. The day you turn 64 you will start being bombarded with mail from Social Security informing you that you will be turning 65 and it is time to start planning for Medicare. You start receiving mail from Insurance Companies all wanting you to buy their Supplemental Health Plans.

You think to yourself I am happy with my Health Care Plan through my union retirement package, I will just stay with what I have. But, wait that is not allowed; you receive notice from your Health Care Plan - "You will be turning 65, you must take Medicare and a Supplemental Plan through your Union or you will be dropped".

You hear everyone referring to Medicare as an Entitlement. The complaints about all the Baby Boomers turning 65. Medicare is going broke, etc. Doctor's are turning away Medicare patients, yet we are being forced if we are retired to take Medicare.

O.K. I have no choice, I throw out all the mass mail from other companies and select to take Medicare and the Supplemental from my union package. This means nothing will really change, same copayments, Vision coverage and Dental coverage.

Wrong - Today I received changes to the complete Health Care Packages. Due to the changes in Health Care Laws everyone including retiree's have benefit cuts. They have to find the money somewhere to pay for children up to 26.

Didn't I hear Obama say that his plan would not affect or change anyone that already had Health Insurance's plan? Another lie!
