New Police Chief in Redlands, Ca- Inland Empire
New Police Chief will continue with "Community Policing". The reason Redlands Police choose to operate out of a Fire Station that was donated to them by the Fire Department, is because they would rather employ a few "Community Police Officers" than spend the money on rebuilding their dilapidated Headquarters. Wook at former Powice Chief Bueermann in the wink, he wooks wike a wittle puppy dog, instead of a Chief. Good riddance you sick puppy, for turning your back on Americans, and allowing legal, and illegal immigrants to flood in.
P.S: He added a tax onto the November ballot to rebuild his headquarters, which was DENIED by the people of Redlands. Good for you people of Redlands.
New Redlands police chief `stood out' as job's front-runner

REDLANDS - A community member who sat on one of the panels that interviewed police chief candidates last week said Mark Garcia established himself as a front-runner for the job early in the process.
Redlands resident Ed Flores said from the moment he saw him, he thought Garcia was a front-runner for the chief job.
"He was the one who stood out the most," Flores said. "He had a good delivery, he had a great presentation, he was very approachable and he was very knowledgable about Redlands."
Mayor Pete Aguilar hasn't met Garcia yet, but he said he was aware of his 24-year career with the San Bernardino Police Department.
"I know he is highly discussed and has a great track record and background," Aguilar said. "He got extremely high marks from the community panel and the other panels he had to interview with.
"We're incredibly excited to have him on board."
Flores is the chairman of the Northside Impact Committee, one of Redlands' nonprofit groups that looks after the interests of residents living north of the 10 Freeway.
North Redlands is an area of the city often characterized by crime and gang activity. It is a very different Redlands than the one seen by the large custom homes on Sunset Drive on the city's southern edge.
Many residents north of the 10 Freeway feel the area needs to be integrated with the city's south side to create one cohesive community.
Flores, one of north Redlands'
outspoken advocates, says he's confident that Garcia will see Redlands as one unified city.
"One of the main things I found impressive was that he looks at Redlands as a whole," Flores said.
A large portion of Redlands' Latino population call north Redlands home. Flores said having Garcia - a Latino who speaks English and Spanish - lead the city's Police Department could be a benefit to north Redlanders.
While Redlands City Council members have praised outgoing Chief Jim Bueermann for integrating the Police Department's operations with the community, they are also excited to see what Garcia will do with the position.
"We're looking forward to a fresh approach on what we've been doing," Aguilar said.
Bueermann said Thursday that Garcia has an "innate interest and desire to work closely" with Redlands community groups.
"He's a very community-oriented guy," Bueermann said. "Community policing is going to stay alive. That's something that's very important to this town and as a resident, it's something that's very important to me."
Garcia will start June 17 as Redlands' police chief.

No way. Not interested in one-sided integration and we know which side that would be!
If I want to become latin-American then I have a whole continent in which I can choose a place to live to do so. So keep your racist views about Americans and what you wrongly view as OUR need to assimilate to yourself; take your people who don't want to assimilate to this country and English and go back somewhere within the vast central & south American countries. As Aristotle said, “Tolerance and apathy are the first virtue of a dying civilization.â€

Wow, Good eye Forest! I didn't even catch that they may be seeking forced integration in that town, by the New Chief. That could mean forced marriages, forced ehem... forced reparations. Oooooff! Bad politics. There goes the nayboarhood! Yikes!
