Bangladesh: Another Ivermectin Success Story

I’ve reported numerous times about the success of Ivermectin in countries like India and Japan.
Uttar Pradesh, India’s most populated state, reported many of their districts COVID-free.
In Japan, COVID-19 cases and deaths took a nosedive with the introduction of Ivermectin in August.
Despite the success, mainstream media has remained silent about Ivermectin.

I want to share another Ivermectin success story from Asia that’s likely never to receive any coverage by the mainstream press.
The latest reports arise from one of the world’s most populated countries, Bangladesh.
The South Asian nation has a population of 164.7 million, making it the 8th most populated country on Earth.

Bangladesh is also considered one of the poorest countries in the world and reported a 2017 poverty rate of 31.5 percent.
Despite a high poverty rate, densely populated regions, and low inoculation rates, Bangladesh has observed minimal problems from COVID-19.
The latest Our World in Data numbers show Bangladesh has fully inoculated 22.40% of its population against COVID-19.

“Experts” will claim these low COVID-19 inoculation rates would leave the country vulnerable to outbreaks.
However, Bangladesh’s Worldometer chart shows the world’s 8th most populated country has recorded 27,989 COVID-19 deaths at the time of writing.
For comparison, Bangladesh ranked 150th in deaths per 1 million people at the time of writing.
Reports indicate Ivermectin played a huge role in keeping death rates low for Bangladesh.

As is occurring in many low-and-middle-income countries (LMICs), TrialSite observes in Bangladesh that while vaccination rates are low, overall problems with COVID-19 have been minimal at least compared to many other nations. This observation was picked up recently by The Daily Telegraph. From November 20, 2021, to December 1, Bangladesh, one of the world’s most populated nations with 165 million, had only one death from COVID-19. This is a significant statistic in a generally poor country with pockets of considerable poverty and overcrowding. Many physicians known to TrialSite, such as Dr. Tarek Alam, were big ivermectin proponents—conducting several studies. One point of view among care providers is that ivermectin influenced this outcome. In Bangladesh, only 22% of the population has been vaccinated against covid, yet the death rate from the virus remains low at just over one percent. Bangladesh has a population of about 165 million but just over 27 thousand deaths from COVID-19. According to an interview with Dr. Alam, last year, ivermectin in Bangladesh combined with Doxycycline and various vitamins and minerals is known as “the People’s Drug.”

Currently, Ivermectin has already been adopted by 25 percent of the world’s countries to prevent and treat COVID-19. Bangladesh, where Ivermectin is broadly used in almost every home, enjoys a 99% lower per capita death rate from COVID-19 than the US. Bangladesh, with 160 million inhabitants, has half the US population. However, it has merely 10,000 COVID-19 deaths. Contrast that with nearly 580,000 US deaths in our country of 327 million.
However, censorship, corruption, hospital lawyers, and disinformation campaigns have continued to stand in the way of its widespread acceptance in the United States. Many have never even heard of it.
Yet, most Americans only think “horse dewormer” when they hear Ivermectin.
