Barak Obama's father is a Muslim and Barak Obama was a practicing Muslim when he was young.

Obama now professes to be a “Chistian,â€

Any practice of Islam by Obama would have been concluded before the age of 10, after which he was back in the States to be raised by his grandparents. None of this affects his personal spirituality or will.

I agree that hard line Muslims consider him a Muslim apostate and Islam does not allow for conversions to other faiths (although they happen). I would stay the heck out of certain parts of the world if I were him.

I'm just curious if Obama is going to church now and if so what church does he attend? Does anyone know?

I suspect he's real busy these days. And, he's moving to Washington. He may decide that the danger to parishioners posed by his presence would be distracting to any congregation he might choose, and just stay home.

I may be wrong, but I swear I heard that he was spending Christmas in the middle-east and he's supposed to have some special message to the Muslims about peace when he gets sworn in on their TV. It was on the radio today I think, because they were discussing the fact he was using his middle name when he gets sworn in and how there seems to be alot of extra attention paid to Muslims now.......anyone else hear about it? Wasn't said in any derogorty way......just a discussion.......
