    Olbermann’s Fuzzy Math on Race

    By Roger Aronoff
    Thursday, February 18, 2010

Stung by the reaction to his baseless charges of racism against the Tea Party movement, MSNBC-TV host Keith Olbermann did something he rarely does—he cited on the air some of the criticism of his remarks, including from my column carried by GOPUSA and other Internet sites. He did this without labeling his critics as being among “the worstâ€

I want to say something to all my fellow Americans who are members of the Democratic Party. I know that you want what is best for our country, the same as everyone else. You are also our largest party, and as such, you've controlled the course of our country for more years than Republicans.

I also know that you are no more socialist than most Republicans and that you love our country the same as we do. I'm going to beg you all to study the history of your party, the real history, and the history of the Republican Party, the real history, based on actual achievements, actual laws, actual legislation, actual battles on the issues, and then ask yourself, "why am I a Democrat?" Republicans should do the same and ask themselves "why am I a Republican?"

I'm a Republican because Republicans fought for the end of slavery, civil rights, equal rights, worker's rights, women's rights, protectionism, immigration controls, anti-trust, consumer protections, minimum wages, 40 hour work weeks, automatic over-time, intercontinental railroad, interstate highway system, OSHA, Brown vs Board of Education, and other big ideas and big progress that I think made our country better for everyone. I'm also a Republican because Republicans fought against the Federal Income Tax and the Federal Reserve, but because we were the minority party at the time, we were outnumbered by Democrats and failed to stop them both because we didn't have the votes to do so.

In 2010, Republicans, Democrats, Independents, Libertarians, Green, Constitution, Liberty all need to come together and find the best of their various philosophies and agendas and as Americans choose a platform of their own by which to select candidates to represent our country.

These are mine and the list of issues that I'll be using to select candidates that I vote for this year:

    1. stop illegal immigration
    2. pass the FairTax
    3. protect our trade
    4. legalize/regulate/tax under 2 the illegal drug trade
    5. drill baby drill
    6. Pro-Choice

I believe that if can vote in a plurality of candidates to the US Congress so that we have at least 51% of both Houses of our Congress that supports at least 1, 2, 3, 5 and 6 with 4 to follow shortly thereafter, then whether the candidate is a Republican, a Democrat, an Independent, a Libertarian, a Green, Constitution or Liberty Party candidate, etc., etc., etc., then we can and will save our nation.

United We Stand, Divided We Fall. Our House of Cards is tumbling under the weight of treason, stupidity, betrayal and overpopulation, so time is of the essence.

Good One! I always translated it as they don't have any other names to come up with so the 'R' word seems to work. The reality is, whitey is done with it. It has been so overused, it lost it's effectiveness completely! Libtards cant come up with anything else after all this time. ....and they call us narrow minded!
