They don't understand the new math either. Medicare is bankrupt but we can pull over 500 billion from the program. This is like pulling cash out of a magician's hat. It's not there but they will use that sum to demonstrate how their plan will result in a deficit reduction. The numbers just don't add up. Like the magician, they don't want us to see what they're really doing.
