USA TODAY's founder, Al Neuharth, appears to be a bit out of touch with reality as his advocacy of free college would indicate. If he is serious, then perhaps, for a starter, he could persuade those tenured professors to teach for free ("Should free college be part of education?," The Forum, Nov. 12).

Nothing is free. To provide anything we either tax someone's earnings, or we borrow money from China and then tax our citizens to pay China back. What ever happened to working your way through college?
