    Did you see it?
    If not, you should.
If you like action, it was served up very well.

It's not a regular superhero film. Everyone is a human. There are no aliens. Just regular humans doing incredible things.

Well, I had seen ratings for the movie and they were high. But as noted in this first video, the biggest popularity is was with Black People, because of association. This is to be expected. It is just like most Black People voted for Obama, because he, like them was Black. I'm sure BET has a much higher Black audience than White viewers. This is the nature of things.

Of course there have been other major movies with Black leads. "I, Robot" starred Will Smith. His role was not of a Black Man, so it had universal appeal. There have been many others. But this was primarily centered on Black characters.

In television there have been historic Black lead shows like Cosby. I think that show was successful because the characters were not written as ethnic Black. they were everyday people. Today we have show like Black-ish which portray more Black issues while looking at them in a comedic manner. I enjoy that show although some of the story-lines get too leftist or Blackish!

This video surprised me. I was expecting more praise. With this review in mind, I would be watching the movie more critically , looking for the instances he pointed out.

But the movie isn't what I expected from the title. Being cheap, I won't see it until it is out on cable.

I don't know if I can accept that black people were the majority by much, but the press reported their numbers:

While Disney will definitely recoup Ryan Coogler’s $200 million budget (plus $150 million spent on publicity) for “Black Panther,” the company will also benefit from its gamble on a predominantly black cast, which the broader motion picture industry has historically shied away from and global audiences have rarely supported. In the U.S., opening weekend ticket sales were largely attributed to diverse audiences: 37 percent of moviegoers were African American, followed by 35 percent white, and 18 percent Hispanic. Contrary to beliefs about black films, “Black Panther” has been well received and quite profitable overseas too, with openings still scheduled abroad.

I am pleasantly pessimistic when I heard the media throw out numbers but... I really don't know.

I thought the CGI was a little overused but it's not a documentary and it is forgivable because all comic book movies need CGI
to bring out the "super" in superhero. Anyone can punch a man, but when he's punched by the Hulk, gravity's pull on a man's body just stops working!
    I need to see that!
