I don't know which is funnier, Ben getting ticked about Black Panther or David getting tick about Ben getting ticked. A couple of kooks!
I got tickets to see the movie later this evening. It's Ben's obvious annoyance at BP that makes this hilarious.
Quick story:
My mom loves Harrison Ford. My dad then says a few playful grumbling words about Harrison.
It is possible for Harrison Ford to meet my mom and they both run away together.
( My mom is a saint so I'm defeating my argument)
But BP is a comic book and totally not possible.
Ben is a educated man with powerful debate skills and he's obviously bothered by a movie, and that is funny.
Wow!
I just finished watching Black Panther and I can now see why Ben is triggered.
The action was good but the light was "on" the whole movie. The audience is purposely
exposed to the dips in tones, clicks and moans of African themed communication.
There wasn't a savior to show them the way.
It was, in a way, a classic American film, in the vein of the "Friends" model.
There were Koreans, Americans and Europeans. But the focus was not on them.
A European interrupted Black Panther while he was talking and the mood of the film makes the viewer think, "How dare he interrupt the king!"
And the king quieted the European official and threatened him if he spoke another word before him.
Their was an air of royalty and majesty and power.
Truly a work of art.
10 out of 10 stars!
So glad you liked the movie Boomslang!
No, I haven't seen it yet. Maybe I will.
