Benton County, AR is still counting votes
I called the election commission to find out vote totals for each precinct and was told that they would not have them for the next few days as they are still counting. It is my opinion that they should have never declared a winner until every last ballot was counted. I have a friend who is calling to find out if they are doing a handcount, but I was at the election office and watched for about 3 hours while they fed the ballots through the machine on election night.

I don't get that either. How can you declare a winner until the last vote is counted? They were declaring winners with 13% of the votes counted. Unless they challenge at their expense...we probably never know what the actual count is. Does anyone step up late and say "Oops....we called it too soon...we were wrong"? The games being played fast forward before the ref has reviewed the call.
