BET Founder Bob Johnson Praises Donald Trump for Founding Opportunity and Revitalization Council

President Donald Trump signed an executive order on Wednesday, establishing a White House Opportunity and Revitalization Council and earning the support BET founder Bob Johnson, a former Hillary Clinton supporter.

“I’m a fundamental believer that there are business solutions to social problems,” he said, praising Trump for his efforts to help poverty-stricken neighborhoods.

Johnson was a vocal financial supporter of Hillary Clinton during the 2016 presidential campaign. CNN’s Van Jones was also spotted in the crowd as his Dream Corps foundation supported the idea.

The council will be headed by Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Ben Carson and will focus on a multi-agency approach to help restore the greatness of low-income communities, according to the White House.

“Our goal is to ensure that America’s great new prosperity is shared by all our citizens,” Donald Trump said, promising to help communities “ignored by Washington.”

The council will help the president identify ways to cut regulations, taxes, and spur private investments in poor communities.

“No citizen will be forgotten, no community will be ignored, and no American will be left on the sidelines,” Trump said. “To achieve our national destiny we must unlock the potential of all of our people.”

Jimmy Kemp, the president of the Jack Kemp Foundation also attended as well as several pastors – Pastor Darrell Scott, Bishop Harry Jackson, and Pastor Donte Hickman.

Sen. Tim Scott was also present and praised Trump for his efforts for impoverished communities as well as his support for criminal justice reform.

“Your strong advocacy for criminal justice reform…without out any question without your leadership our Senate would not have made the decision to take it up in 2018,” he said.

Poverty stricken neighborhoods need Family Planning! Wait to have a family you can afford and get yourself out of poverty first.

Free birth control, free or low cost vasectomies and tubal ligations and make it easy to get as a Dental appointment! I would rather pay for this than 8 unwanted kids living in poverty, joining gangs, and no future with 3 generations of welfare and food stamps! We have to pay one way or the other...pay for the birth control!

We give ONE BILLION to Churches facilitating their human trafficking of refugees dumping them on our backs to pay for. Take the money and "subsidize" birth control, tubal ligations and vasectomies!

Many of these families have no father or there are 8 different baby daddies. They will NEVER get off the dole or out of poverty if this is not addressed. This creates more crime, gangs, drugs, murder, jail!

Churches are given tax-exempt status, they do not pay billions in taxes. Make a deal that they provide after school programs, tutoring, daycare and other programs available for these families children.

We need affordable housing for Senior's in 55+ communities so they can downsize, we need affordable housing for low income and our homeless Veterans. Start building it! These homes need to be on bus lines where public transportation is available.

STOP bringing more uneducated, 3rd world breeders, into our country and stop dumping them in OUR communities. We have our own people to help now.

We have allowed millions of people to come here. It needs to stop. All of it! We need a pause, we need a break. We need to focus on our inner cities, our homeless, and our own citizens now. We demand it!!!

We need to create infrastructure jobs, get everybody to work, and stop giving our money to foreign nations! We are not the ATM machine or dumping ground for the world.

We have 22 million in debt and 63% of foreigners on welfare and food stamps. Cut off the freebies including medical care and schools. It is costing US a fortune. We are not going to work every day, busting our butts, to hand our money over to foreigners AGAINST our will.
