Biden Train Wreck: AP Poll: 85 Percent of Americans Say Nation Is on the Wrong Track, Including 78 Percent of Democrats

After a spring that saw Biden administration policies cause American babies to be hospitalized from starvation, gas prices soar over $5 per gallon nationwide, inflation over 8 percent and Biden spending billions to defend Ukraine while leaving the U.S. southern border undefended, Americans by a stunning 85 percent say the nation is on the wrong track according to a poll by AP/NORC released Wednesday, including a whopping 78 percent of Democrats who say the nation is on the wrong track. The right track number has collapsed by over 50 percent in just two months, down to just 14 percent in June from 29 percent in April (21 percent in May).

Biden’s overall approval is 39 percent, disapproval 60 percent, with approval by independents at 25 percent–just one point above Richard Nixon’s Watergate low of 24 percent approval in the days before he resigned the presidency in August 1974.

The only area Biden has approval over fifty percent is his handling of the pandemic, 53 percent. On guns Biden is at 36 percent approval and on the economy at a dismal 28 percent approval.
Independents give Biden just 14 percent approval on the economy while Democrats give Biden 54 percent approval. Republican approval of Biden on the economy is just 5 percent (Cheney, Kinzinger and who else?)

Poll methodology: “The nationwide poll was conducted June 23-27, 2022 using the AmeriSpeak® Panel, the probability-based panel of NORC at the University of Chicago. Online and telephone interviews using landlines and cell phones were conducted with 1,053 adults. The margin of sampling error is +/- 4.0 percentage points.”
Meanwhile the daily CIVIQs tracking poll has Biden stuck at 32 percent approval for the past week with 21 percent approval by independents.

The CIVIQs poll has Biden’s approval by Democrats at 67 percent while the AP/NORC poll has Democrats giving Biden 72 percent approval.
The CIVIQs poll has race/ethnic approval ratings that show Biden is getting in deeper trouble with minorities. Approval by Blacks is now under 60 percent, currently 58 percent. If this trend keeps heading downward Biden will only be supported in the Black community by the man who saved his candidacy in early 2020, Rep. James Clyburn (D-SC).
Hispanics only approve Biden by 40 percent, ‘Other’ minorities give Biden 37 percent approval and whites only give Biden 26 percent approval in the CIVIQs poll.
Last week Republicans flipped a deep blue Congressional seat in Texas, electing Mexican immigrant Mayra Flores to a seat in the Rio Grande Valley, an area held by Democrats for over a hundred years, a sign of the red tsunami expected this November.
In Rhode Island, former Cranston mayor Asian-American Republican Allan Fung is leading all Democrat challengers for an open seat held by Democrats since 1991, according to a recent Boston Globe/Suffolk University poll. Fung’s lead among his six Democrat rivals ranges from 6.5 percent to 13.7 percent, well out of the margin of error of 4.8 percent.

The poll also has Biden’s approval at 34 percent in the district Fung is running (RI-2) with 71 percent saying Biden shouldn’t run for reelection.

President Biden: I'm Begging You—Don't Run in 2024. Our Country Needs You to Stand Down | Opinion

Opinion by Allan Katz - Yesterday 6:02 PM

© Denis Doyle/Getty ImagesMADRID, SPAIN - JUNE 29: US President Joe Biden speaks with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg (unseen) at the NATO Summit on June 29, 2022 in Madrid, Spain. During the summit in Madrid, NATO leaders will make the historic decision whether to increase the number of high-readiness troops above 300,000 to face the Russian threat.

Recent explosive testimony from the January 6 Committee hearings has proven even further what we all already know: Donald Trump must not become president, ever again.
Which means that President Joe Biden must not run again in 2024.
Even as the country navigates the January 6 hearings, the aftermath of the mass shootings in Buffalo and Uvalde, and a wave of controversial Supreme Court decisions including the overturning of Roe v. Wade, the basic political environment for the Democratic Party appears largely unchanged. The party seems to be careening toward a disaster in the midterms.
There is one figure in American politics who I think could shift this dynamic: President Biden. He won't do this with more speeches or press conferences or barnstorming the country. President Biden can only save the Democrats—and by extension, the country—by promising that this is his final act. That is, he should announce immediately that he will not seek reelection in 2024. By doing so, I think Biden could change the political environment almost overnight.

Announcing that he won't be running accomplishes two goals. It releases candidates from the anchor he represents, tying them to a deeply unpopular president. And it allows Biden to legitimately point out that since he isn't seeking another term, decisions he makes going forward will in no way be driven by political gain.

Moreover, Democrats would gain a much-needed energy boost: They can begin to look forward to a robust campaign to find a suitable nominee for 2024, while relishing the Republicans' self-destruction when they inevitably nominate Trump.
I know the current thinking in Biden-land is that he will run again and is the only one who can beat Trump. But the fallacy of that thinking is painfully obvious. The opposite is the case: Biden will almost certainly lose to Trump.
He will after all be 82 years old, and his age is showing. And every opinion poll shows that he is and in all likelihood will remain much less popular than he was in 2020.

The President's team has an unfortunate penchant for insular Washington-based thinking, and it's undermined whatever goodwill was created by defeating Trump. Their political mishandling of multiple issues has been both shocking and, perhaps more importantly, deeply corrosive of the trust any government needs.
Of course, they are all creatures of Washington. That stood President Biden in good stead for dealing with the Ukraine crisis, but everything else seems out of sync and getting worse. Having to navigate a Republican Congress while seeking re-election will not be pretty.
All that can change if President Biden announces that he is not running. His recognition that America needs a new generation of leaders will resonate with younger voters and give the Democrats a chance to have a nomination contest that is worthwhile. Even that simple recognition will go a long way toward giving people a new reason to consider putting a bit more of their trust in government again. So will Biden's newfound capacity to speak and act as he sees fit, political consequences be damned.
Some in Washington may think that if Biden makes such an announcement, he will immediately be downgraded to "lame duck." But in fact he would be liberated and enjoy at least a momentary surge in popularity and political capital from both his party's base and the larger electorate.
The alternative is far less appealing.
President Biden has an opportunity to pass the torch, not only to a candidate but to a generation. He can move us past the horror of another Trump-Biden race which he could lose. He shouldn't want his legacy to be that his own unwillingness to let go allowed a second Trump Presidency—or worse.
President Biden: For the sake of our party and our country, please don't run again. The time to announce that is now.

‘Unifier-In-Chief’ Hits LOWEST Approval Ever Just 5 Days After SCOTUS Ruling

    Bo Banks | Jun 29, 2022

President Joe Biden is not the unifier-in-chief Americans are supposed to believe he is. Instead, he continues to divide the nation with his rhetoric, while pushing hard for progressive policies the average family couldn’t care less about.

Folks, let's get one thing straight: The ultra-MAGA agenda has always been about taking away women’s rights, in every single state.

On Wednesday, just 5 days after SCOTUS overturned Roe, Biden plunged to his all-time low in the RealClearPolitics average, sinking below 38%.
This is the lowest approval ever, marking a monumental dip for the first time in the Biden presidency.
Moreover, Democrats thought that the recent SCOTUS decision would have energized its base, thus catalyzing a resurgence of support for the party. That did not happen. Even after Biden expressed deep disappointment in the outcome.

Another day, another fresh all-time low for Biden job approval on RCP, under 38 for the first time.

So now it appears that Biden has retorted to what he does best; gaslighting the nation while painting Republican leadership as the new “boogeyman” that ought to be avoided at all costs.
At the same time, the President is continuing to ignore the issues at the top of most Americans’ concerns – like skyrocketing gas prices, inflation, the Southern Border crisis, etc. – to push forth a radical Democrat agenda to gain support through social issues like LGBTQI+ rights and Pride Month.

Fifty three years ago, a movement was born at the Stonewall Inn. Today, we celebrate the generations of LGBTQI+ people who have fought to make the possibilities of our nation real for every American. It is with pride that we continue what they started.

When his administration is asked about important topics like rising consumer costs, reporters are often dismissed or redirected towards more “pressing matters” like gender transitioning children.
Biden has routinely called out Republicans for “bullying” members of the LGBT movement. Announcing that he will fight against “discriminatory attacks” and “extreme MAGA laws and policies” that have allegedly led to the high suicide rate amongst the community. Even though it is not clear what he is referring to by those comments.
The President’s constantly dropping approval numbers show that his priorities are in the wrong place and that they are not working. Voters care far more about the economy and their own pocketbooks than the latest social cause, and they are running out of patience for platitudes and empty promises that only end up hurting Americans.
Democrats know this, which is why they are moving away from the issues, and instead smearing Republicans however they can to fear-monger voters into electing blue. It’s a bold, last-ditch-effort strategy.

Americans have witnessed this failing administration botch the economy, run gas prices through the roof, destroy our Southern Border, divide the nation through grotesque rhetoric, and pass off blame for all the country’s problems onto foreign actors and the opposite side of the political aisle.
The Democrats have been on this path for quite some time now. But Americans are seeing right through their smokescreens and mirrors. The bill is coming due.
