Boehner says facts show Obama a Christian citizen

WASHINGTON (AP) — House Speaker John Boehner says Americans have a right to think what they want to think, even when they are wrong about President Barack Obama's citizenship and his religion.

Boehner tells NBC's "Meet the Press" that he believes Obama was born in Hawaii and that the president is a Christian, and that those are facts.

Some people believe that Obama was born outside the U.S. or in some other way is not a natural-born citizen eligible to be president. There is also a persistent belief among some that Obama is a Muslim.

Boehner denies that he is willing to let those misperceptions remain because they weaken and delegitimize Obama.

Asked why he doesn't speak against such perceptions, Boehner says it's not his job to tell Americans what to think.

I believed things would change for the better, when during Obama's campaign speech he said "everyone has to be documented!"

"I believe he may have been lying!"

And just because YOU believe he was born here, and he is a Christian doesn't make it so!

But I can see it now, if it is ever brought up in Congress, [b]you will procede to shut it down and not let Americans decide, you've done it for us!

So I agree. It is a fact that Boehner believes Obama was born in Hawaii and he is a Christian. However, Boehner's beliefs do not make anything a FACT. Facts must be substantiated by irrefutable data or evidence.

So as Boehner believes its true he should have no problem assigning the issue to a commitee to squash this gross injustice to Mr President once and for all right? After all its about removing the doubts and putting legitamcy back?

Of course how can we believe that when they won't so much as allow a small formal inquiry about it. If I was President and the question was raised I'd have my longform BC up shortly for people to look at so I could laugh and gain more support. Why hide if you have nothing to hide?
