BOOM: Missouri Senate Joins House in Nullifying Federal Gun Control

Numerous states are working towards rolling back the infringements on the gun rights of citizens by liberalizing their gun control laws. Some states are even nullifying federal gun control laws, making them ineffective and unenforceable within their borders.
Of course the mainstream media gives little coverage to nullification, and rarely reports on the states recognizing their citizens’ rights, unless they are screaming about the Wild West and blood in the streets. This is because the media is largely on board with President Obama’s anti-gun agenda.
One such state that is recognizing the inherent and natural right of people to keep and bear arms, and nullifying federal infringements upon that right, is Missouri.

According to Breitbart, the Missouri Senate voted overwhelmingly to join the state representatives in nullifying federal gun control laws and refusing “unlimited submission” to the federal government in DC.
The Tenth Amendment Center reports the Senate’s passage of HB 1439 nullifies “virtually every federal gun control measure on the books” and applies to laws “past, present or future.”
HB 1439 states that laws that infringe on Missourians’ right to keep and bear arms “shall be invalid in this state, shall not be recognized by this state, shall be specifically rejected by this state, and shall be considered null and void and of no effect in this state.”
The legislation contains an “emergency” clause, meaning it will take effect immediately after the Governor’s signature, instead of the usual 90 days later.
This is good news for Missourians, and anybody else that cherishes their right to keep and bear arms and has invested themselves into fighting the federal governments infringements on that right. Hopefully, more states will follow Missouri’s lead, and pass similar legislation that helps protect and guarantee the unalienable rights of the people to be armed.
