Man Reports Theft Of Marijuana Supply

Apple Valley, MN (AHN) -- Police authorities were contacted by a man who reported that a burglar had stolen about $3,200 from his house - along with his marijuana stash.

The man primarily claimed that someone had broken into his Apple Valley home, and that he was not certain whether or not the burglar had taken anything. Upon the arrival of Apple Valley police, the man said that the robber had indeed made off with his precious supply.

According to the Pioneer Press, Officer Tommie Booth found the situation more than a little suspicious when he saw that the entire house was untouched except for the bedroom, which was completely ransacked. The victim also said that the robber had broken into a locked closet, signifying that he was actually looking for something.

Further investigation of the scene led Officer Booth to another closet that contained pieces of paper with names written on them. They also had amounts and weights - evidence of drug transactions.

It was only after he was again questioned that the victim admitted that the burglar made off with his marijuana stash, and cash, reported the UPI.

The police report on the incident read, "He also implied that his drug dealings were all right, stating 'I just sell to my friends.'"
