    FROM CMPN SPOX BILL BURTON:

"This is a fake news controversy drummed up by the all too common alliance of Fox News, the Drudge Report and John McCain, who apparently decided to close out his campaign with the same false, desperate attacks that have failed for months. In this seven year old interview, Senator Obama did not say that the courts should get into the business of redistributing wealth at all. Americans know that the real choice in this election is between four more years of Bush-McCain policies that redistribute billions to billionaires and big corporations and Barack Obamas plan to help the middle class by giving tax relief to 95% of workers and companies that create new jobs here in America. Thats the change we need, and no amount of eleventh-hour distractions from the McCain campaign will change that," said Obama-Biden campaign spokesman Bill Burton.

What Obama says in the interview is basically he doesn't have faith in the court system, the JUDICIAL branch of government to interpret the constitution according to HIS socialist agenda. He felt the LEGISLATIVE branch could do it, though. Of course as president, especially with a filibuster proof democrat liberal majority, his ideas will become all too real.

DAYTON, Ohio, Oct. 27 (UPI) -- Republican U.S. presidential contender John McCain Monday attacked Democrat Barack Obama's comments about redistributing wealth.

At a rally in Dayton, Ohio, McCain in prepared remarks hammered Obama for saying one of the tragedies of the civil rights movement was that it failed to "bring about redistributive change."

"That is what change means for Barack the Redistributor: It means taking your money and giving it to someone else," McCain railed. "He believes in redistributing wealth, not in policies that grow our economy and create jobs. He is more interested in controlling wealth than in creating it, in redistributing money instead of spreading opportunity."

McCain, who is running behind Obama in a number of polls, was on the attack in what is considered a must-win state for both candidates. McCain charged Obama wants to soak the rich and that his tax proposals would make a bad economy even worse.

"This is the fundamental difference between Senator Obama and me. We both disagree with President Bush on economic policy. The difference is that he thinks taxes have been too low, and I think that spending has been too high," McCain said.
