Special Agent In Charge, Timothy J. Fuhrman, of the Salt Lake City, Utah Field Office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, requests the assistance of the public in the following matter:

On Friday night January 11, 2008, the seminary building belonging to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (LDS) at Highland High school, 2221 South 1700 East, Salt Lake City, Utah was vandalized with anti-LDS graffiti by an unknown subject or subjects.

The FBI, in conjunction with the Salt Lake City Police Department has been actively investigating this matter as a hate crime. The FBI considers this type of hate related crime a top priority and is aggressively pursuing any and all leads pertaining to this case.

The FBI is requesting the Public’s assistance in providing information which may lead to the arrest and conviction of the subject or subjects involved in this crime. Monetary rewards are available for timely and accurate information.
