Enraged “protesters” in Ferguson, Missouri are running wild tonight, two months to the day after Michael Brown’s death — chanting for the murder of the officer who shot him, burning American flags, vandalizing homes, assaulting reporters, and blocking traffic across the St. Louis metro area.
Ginned up by the shooting of a Black gunman who was killed on Wednesday, the angry mob is putting this St. Louis suburb on the verge of explosive racial violence tonight.
Vonderrit D. Myers was shot Wednesday after he opened fire three times on a White, off-duty officer. However Myers’ parents insist he was unarmed. So activists are demanding Eric Holder investigate, as the death of any Black man, criminal or innocent can ignite this racial powder keg.
Over the past 48 hours, protesters have started demanding the indictment of Officer Darren Wilson, who shot Brown dead on August 9th in controversial circumstances, after Brown committed a strong-arm robbery of a convenience story.
Tonight the mob was actually calling for Wilson’s death, as a USAToday reporter relayed from the scene an hour ago:

Protesters have been blocking intersections in Ferguson completely, as police have changed tactics and are “hanging back” for fear of igniting another rampaging, looting mob, as we saw all throughout August. They blocked most cars coming through, and made an ambulance wait far too long before finally letting it through.
Around 10pm CST they began burning American flags. Absolutely disgusting.
