SURPRISE singing sensation Susan Boyle has become Britain's favourite video star - shooting straight to the top of the YouTube charts.
The clip of her audition for Britain's Got Talent clocked up an astonishing 1,132,490 views in just 48 hours.
Jobless Scot Susan - who stunned the judges with her performance of I Dreamed A Dream from musical Les Miserables - has even outshone Hollywood stars to become an internet sensation.
The second most viewed YouTube clip clocked up only 264,211 hits - and that was Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus in a short film with Nick Jonas entitled Fender Bender.
The other Britain's Got Talent entries were left trailing in Susan's wake with dance act Flawless the best of them at 199,329 hits.
Susan, 47, from Blackburn, West Lothian - who suffered mild brain damage at birth - is seen being interviewed before her audition in Glasgow for the ITV1 show.
Dumpy and greying, Susan attracted visible scorn from sneering Simon Cowell when she announced from the stage her dream was to be like West End star Elaine Paige.
But just seconds into her jaw-dropping performance - as the audience spontaneously begin standing and clapping - judges Cowell, Piers Morgan and Amanda Holden are left speechless.
Morgan finally tells her: "I am giving you the biggest 'yes' I have ever given to anybody."
And a grinning Cowell admits her singing is "extraordinary".
Holden adds: "It was a privilege to listen to you."
Susan - who says she has never been on a date or even been kissed - is now favourite to win the 2009 series of Britain's Got Talent .
She has lived in the same home all her life with her parents - and dedicated her performance to her mum Bridget, who died two years ago aged 91.
Amazingly, she has only ever sung in local choirs or at karaoke.

If you haven't seen this woman yet, do yourself a favor and watch it. You won't believe the voice that comes out of her. It gave me chills.
The joke is on the audience - they try to make her out to be a fool and she is in total control.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

I went on to post this video here, but see I was already beaten to it. If you have not watched it, then do yourself a favor and check it out. It is well worth anyone’s 9 minutes.
Hopefully it’ll be a reminder that you can’t judge a book by its cover.
I have sent it to everyone I know. I hope you like it too.
CarolinaMtnWoman, the current view count is 7,275,149 and growing. I know why.
