Sound off on the move to ban lead bullets
- This is one more devious way the Obama administration is attacking the 2nd Amendment right to keep and bear arms (90%, 505 Votes)
- Because the replacement metal is 4 times as expensive, this is just one more way to discourage Americans from exercising their 2nd Amendment rights (5%, 30 Votes)
- What's next? Will we ban lead fishing sinkers? Are we going to ban lead from the periodic table, too? (2%, 13 Votes)
- What's the big deal? No metal is safe when it's in a bullet (less than 1%, 5 Votes)
- I don't care, I'll just make my own bullets if they ban it (less than 1%, 3 Votes)
- Other (less than 1%, 2 Votes)
- I don't see anything wrong with getting rid of lead from ammunition and replacing it with something safer (less than 1%, 1 Votes)
- This is just common sense. Lead is highly toxic. The more that can be removed from our environment, the better (0%, 0 Votes)
- It's overdue. Hunters fill the countryside with lead. It gets into the water supply. We eat the animals and get lead poisoning (0%, 0 Votes)
- Lead is banned from paint, toys, pencils and other objects. So it should be banned from ammunition as well (0%, 0 Votes)
- I think all bullets should be banned from civilian ownership, lead or otherwise (0%, 0 Votes)
