Bush Policy Makes Victims in US Middle Class
Washington, Sep 29 (Prensa Latina) The US middle-class sector is now the main victim of the US government's economic policy, said a report by the US Center for American Progress (CAP).
Millions of families from this group are facing serious problems to pay a house, medical insurance, transport, and studies for their children, said the text.
CAP said this is due to a weak market and high prices in products and services, despite the US national economy has been recovered for the fifth consecutive year.
According to Christian Weller, CAP main economist, the situation of a typical US family, in which both spouses work, is financially speaking in its worst moment
Weller said that the slow growth of the employment rates is something not seen in the US since World War II, and causes that few families have the capacity to save money to face unexpected events, just like a medical emergency or layout.
