Bush Says NATO Open to All in E. Europe
Bush Says NATO Open to All in E. Europe
Saturday, April 5, 2008 5:59 AM
ZAGREB, Croatia -- President Bush says NATO membership is open to all countries in eastern Europe, including former Soviet states and satellites despite fierce Russian objections.
Speaking in Croatia, which was invited to join NATO just this week, the president told a large crowd gathered in an outdoor square that alliance membership offers the countries of the region lasting protection from outside threats to their freedom.
The speech came just hours before Bush travels to Russia for his final official meeting with outgoing President Vladimir Putin, who is deeply suspicious of NATO's intentions in Russia's backyard.

I wish I had a bull horn that every European could hear--then I would yell out to them "Don't listen to this tratiorous bozo!" He's just trying to spread the UN, which is socialist based.
He should be.. this UN is part of the New World Order, something that the Russians probably don't want any part of..and neither do we!Vladimir Putin, who is deeply suspicious of NATO's intentions in Russia's backyard.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)
