Valley Forge Conference Highlights

Dear Friend of Liberty,

Over 200 years ago, George Washington and his American Revolutionaries settled into Valley Forge for the winter. Exhausted, mal-nourished, and facing ever-increasing odds that their mission to achieve independence from Great Britain would end as a miserable failure, those patriots not only endured through the harsh conditions, but worked harder than ever to prepare for the battles that would face them once they left Valley Forge.

A ragtag group emerged from those bitter months as a fighting force ready to take on the most powerful nation on earth.

Last weekend, C4L members from all over the Northeast gathered in Valley Forge to network, train, and equip themselves with the knowledge and political tools needed to take our country back.

I have personally heard from many members who felt energized and inspired by the speeches, training, and interaction, and who are ready to get back to work reclaiming their neighborhoods and our Republic.

C4L held two big rally events, each attended by several hundred cheering activists. On opening night, our Freedom Celebration featured Dr. Ron Paul, the American Conservative Defense Alliance’s Phil Giraldi, New Jersey State Assemblyman Mike Doherty, and C4L Chairman of the Board Ronnie Paul.

Grassroots training took priority on Friday and Saturday, as over 600 people sat in on classes such as The Real Nature of Politics, Building a Donor Base, Where Do Rights Come From?, and Legislative Tactics. These classes equipped the attendees with the tools necessary to become efficient, effective activists and to achieve real, lasting change. They also helped to sharpen C4L members’ knowledge of the political process and to fill them in on how politicians think and why they behave as they do.

Judge Andrew Napolitano delivered a fiery speech for our Friday lunch attendees, as he thoroughly exposed big government power grabs like the Patriot Act and defended individual liberty.

We closed the Conference at our Economic Liberty Symposium, where we heard from bestselling author and historian Tom Woods, Euro Pacific Capital President Peter Schiff, and British MEP Daniel Hannan.

Our training, combined with the educational information received from our Thursday and Saturday speakers, gives our members a great advantage over those attempting to advance their positions of taking more control over our lives.

The choice now before all those who attended is whether or not we will put what we learned last weekend into practice. Ben Bernanke, Barack Obama, and their big government allies on both sides of the aisle are hoping you sit out the coming weeks and months and wait for election day to voice your opinion.

They have never seen a movement like ours. Let’s show them that we’re just getting started and come out of our Valley Forge experience more dedicated than ever to stopping our out of control federal government and returning it to the vision laid out by our Founders.
