Four suspected gang members stabbed at quinceañera

Four suspected gang members were recovering today after they were stabbed inside a North Hollywood church during a quinceañera celebration, according to Los Angeles police.

Police were called shortly after 11 p.m. to the Iglesia Luterana San Pablo Church in the 7400 block of Tujunga Avenue, which had been the site of the traditional Latino coming-of-age celebration, said officer Bruce Borihanh.

Officers found four alleged gang members with stab wounds. The victims were taken by ambulance to local hospitals, Borihanh said. Their injuries were not life-threatening.

A rival gang reportedly attended the quinceañera, got into a verbal argument with the celebrants and stabbed the four victims, Borihanh said. Police are searching for suspects.

This is exactly WHY my teeth curl each and every time I read something about the allegedly overwhelming and superior piety of gang members and illegal aliens which, oftentimes are one in the same.

The very thought is hypocritical at best.

I should probably clarify though.....my comment was not intended to reflect upon latinos as a whole.
