Perhaps California could put a sin tax on tobacco to help pay for welfare. Or better yet a tax on wines. Or certain vineyards? Or perhaps a sin tax on Hollywood. Something that the liberals value. Pornography. Starbucks?

Almost everything is already highly taxed except marijuana and porn, maybe those are the next targets.

I suggested to the CA Democratic Party that they should tax businesses who hire illegal aliens $1000 per month per illegal worker. In other words make e-verify mandatory, and instead of taking away a businesses license, charge every business that does not use it $1000 per month per worker. The voters would support that.
