CA-Rep. Sanchez to join Homeland Security chief at border

FYI... LORETTA SANCHEZ IS A LA RAZA MEMBER... Probably why the arrested illegals were given unlimited work visas instead of being deported...

Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez will travel today to the San Diego-Mexican border with Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano.

Sanchez (D-Garden Grove) will tour the border with Napolitano who will be briefed on border operations at the Otay Mesa port of entry, right across the border from Tijuana, according to Sanchez's representatives.

Sanchez serves as vice-chairwoman of the Homeland Security Committee and as chairwoman of the subcommittee on border, maritime and global counterterrorism.

Today's tour marks the start of a three-day tour for Napolitano who is expected to meet with Mexican officials to work on ways to combat drug violence in the region, according to a media advisory, detailing her tour.

Thursday, Napolitano is to visit Cuernavaca, Mexico, where she will join U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder and Mexican officials to attend the Arms Trafficking Prosecution and Enforcement Strategy executive session.

The following day she'll meet with President Felipe Calderón in Mexico City before her final stop Friday at the Laredo Port of Entry.

There she'll meet with U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers and Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents.

Talk about the fox guarding the hen house!! Good grief! The majority of illegal invaders who make it across that border find and seek sanctuary in Santa Ana, which is in the heart of Loretta Sanchez's 47th District!

Hey Loretta...you don't have to drive to the border to see firsthand the devastation caused by illegal immigration in this state (and country). You simply need to take a drive through our own 47th District!!!

I can just hear the conversation with Loretta and Calderon now... "Send as many illegals through the US/Mexico checkpoint as you can, you can be assured the U.S. BP has orders not to stop them..."

What about combatting drug violence in the US from the Mexican Cartels? Does Napolitano know --or even care--they have started targeting law enforcement officers?

Napolitano's modis operandi has always been, "I'll talk about it strongly, then I'll look the other way, ignore it and do nothing about it..."
