PLEASANTON — A San Ramon man was arrested this week after police found him with equipment they suspect he used to produce fake driver's licenses for minors across the state, police said.

An investigation led the Pleasanton Police Department's special enforcement unit to arrest Roberto Pablo Aguilar, 25, on Wednesday, and found him with three fake California driver's licenses.

A search warrant served at Aguilar's home turned up computers, printers, a laminator, card cutter and other tools commonly used to produce counterfeit driver's licenses, police said.

The volume of the items found at his home suggest that Aguilar produced hundreds of the fake IDs, police said.

Police are seeking the public's help to determine the full scale of Aguilar's alleged activities.

Anyone with information can contact Sgt. Mark Reimer at 925-931-5100.
