CountFloyd that's exactly how I read the article, too. California's elected officials are crazy. There is no other explanation.

This is SOCIALISM.........we all know where this is headed.

Might as well join the EU.

The electoral college is a vital part of the Republic. Without it, our small states will be swallowed up, so to speak.

This is very dangerous and a direct attack on the Constitution.

From the looks of things, we no longer have a Constitution. This is like one on those nightmares where you've yelling your friggin head off for help and nobody hears you. I hope I wake up.

California lawmakers effectively rejected the US’ form of government--the Republic. CA lawmakers advised that they would no longer award California’s electoral votes based on which presidential candidate wins in the state but, will base the award of the votes to the candidate that receives the greatest number of popular votes nationwide.
unfortunately for California, they can't do as they please -- their electoral votes can be rejected and their Congressmen can be denied a seat

MAMIE, the problem with that are the operative words, "can be."
I tend to think that Congress is a collective coward and would not do the right thing for the right reason. There's a good chance that California is in cahoots with others in Congress and this is a planned attack only seemingly coming from Cali.

    What do you think?

Congress won't impeach corrupt judges, they won't draft articles for treason and they probably wouldn't vote to deny seats to states that cater to illegals ...

I agree, there seems to be a concerted effort to overthrow the citizens and states and completely abolish the Constitution
