Also, if they want resources and room to live, there's easier pickings nearer at hand: the former Soviet Union. China also came up with the one child policy, enforced vigorously, which would not help to staff an army that would be needed for such an ambitious plan. If they're feeling crowded, all they have to do is wait about two decades when their older generation dies off.

By the way China has 200,000,000 person army already -- they could easily march across asia and europe if they wished. Also, in military today, numbers is not the deciding issue. What decides battles is training, gear, support (like supply lines), tactics, strategy, speed and precision of attack, speed and numbers delivered to the point of attack, technology, surprise and stealth (like we do not see it coming), preparation, and the weakness of your opponent, and the morale of your troops -- in Desert Storm the U.S. military would have taken much higher casualties if most of the Iraqi armed forces didn't drop there weapons and turn tail and run most of the time.

Do not underestimate China, and do not think that all the poisonings in the U.S. are mere accidents -- its called testing defenses. Today the United States is not protected by its military. Our military is dispersed throughout the world fighting cavemen and propping up corrupt governments and protecting Europe and Japan. It would not take many good troops to run over the United States. High unemployment, citizen anger and frustration, unfair government and taxes, an army of illegal aliens, collapsing infrastructure, and gutless traitorous politicians all will be seen as weakness by and adversary. When it comes to military or any aggression appearing weak is as bad as being weak.

If I were a Chinese general I would plan to invade via Alaska -- good roads into Canada and the lower 48. I would send some cargo ships with nuclear devices into American naval port areas. I would pre-position advanced cadre in the United States (oops done). I would sneak in nuclear components via diplomats and pre position them for a pulse effect when I invaded (nuclear pulses spread around the US would cripple or command and control--and oops probably done). I would gain economic superiority over the United States (oops done). I would somehow manage to steal American industry and technology (oops done). I would act all friendly and non aggressive as I planned my "single blow" war. Cargo Transports can carry lots of men and gear in their holds. 5,000 well trained and armed men could take California easily right now. When I hit it would be hard and without warning and I would rely on rapid and ruthless troop movement and maximum violence to the citizens to scare them indoors.

Evil? Yes but you must know your enemy. By the way did you notice all of the aggressive steps our Government has taken over the massive poisoning by all Chinese goods? You haven't, well that is because they haven't. God save America!

I remember conversations with my fellow activists when the big highway system coming up through Mexico and into Texas to Canada was a huge buzz. Some people thought of China making use of it then.
