Anti-Islam Dutch Politico Causes UK Stir

LONDON - Controversial Dutch MP Geert Wilders has shown his anti-Islam film in the UK's House of Lords after overturning a ban on entering the country.

After the screening, the Freedom Party leader told a press conference Islam and democracy are "incompatible".

Mr Wilders attempted to enter the UK last February, but was ordered to fly back to the Netherlands hours later. The ban was overturned in October.

The Home Office said it is opposed to "extremism in all its forms".

Mr Wilders said the film and subsequent discussion was attended by around 60 people.

He told the press conference called for an end to immigration to Europe from Islamic countries, but said Muslims who agreed to obey the law of the land would be welcome to stay.

Several hundred members of the English Defence League (EDL) marched past the Houses of Parliament in supported of the Dutch politician.

Flanked by mounted police, they chanted football songs and waved Cross of St George flags.

They were kept apart from dozens of anti-fascist demonstrators, who gathered outside the Houses of Parliament, by police officers.

The Unite Against Fascism, organisation protested against the visit of Mr Wilders and the EDL march.

Yasmin Rassool from the group said: "I think the EDL are a racist, homophobic, Nazi party and they shouldn't be allowed to march in our streets."

In my own personal opinion, democracy and Islam are not compatible. If you have a certain number of people who follow Islam peacefully, that is one thing, but if you have large populations of people who start to demand things, such as in Britain, then you have riots, you have accommodation for honor killings, you have clamoring for Sharia courts and teachings, you have preferential treatment such as illegal aliens possess here, and this all is against the best interest of the nation. Sharia Law and the Constitution can never share the same stage. That is the reason that we have different governments in different nations, and different cultures as well. All is not going to work here in the United States. If you have enough of people who see life in a completely different way, there will be a constant demand for a big change.

What is the saying that many have spoken - Not all people who follow Islam are terrorists, however the terrorist incidents have involved Muslims. With pressure against profiling, we are at increasing risk, especially with wide open borders, sloppy refugee and immigration screening.

I think that we should limit entries to the United States from nations that hate us and that want to destroy us.

The author of "Son of Hamas," was on Sean Hannity today. He does not see varying degrees of Islam. Islam is Islam he said. "He said that Western countries do not know what they are up against in fighting Hamas."

The son of a Hamas terrorist leader is shaking up the Middle East with claims that he was an agent for Israel's secret service, the Shin Bet.

In a book released this week called "Son of Hamas," Mosab Yousef claims he prevented dozens of terrorist attacks on Israelis. He also said he helped the Shin Bet capture Hamas leaders for more than a decade.
