Learn How The Debates Are A Fraud

    It’s About Democracy

The Presidential debates are the single most important event in the process of selecting a President.

From 1976 until 1984 the League of Women Voters sponsored debates to maximize voter education. In 1988, the newly established Commission on Presidential Debates (CPD) seized control of the debates after the League refused to let the Republican and Democratic campaigns dictate the terms of the 1988 debates. At the time, the League issued the following press release: “The League is withdrawing its sponsorship of the presidential debates because the demands of the two campaign organizations would perpetrate a fraud on the American voter. It has become clear to us that the candidates’ organizations aim to add debates to their list of campaign-trail charades devoid of substance, spontaneity and answers to tough questions.â€

All they forgot to mention was who do they choose to win and who would ever agree to lose beforehand?

Confession: I voted for Perot, as I saw this as a man who would not let his employees be hostages. I also felt that his business sense, which made him a millionaire would be good for the country.
The debates are just an interruption to my TV schedule for the evening. Just call me sick and tired, and let's get this whole thing overwith.

I won't watch the debates. They're a farce and don't include ALL POTUS candidates.

Perot was not only a spoiler for the Bush 92 election but also the tool needed to exclude 3rd parties from future debates.

Intent on Perot's behalf does not matter. He became a tool for the two party system and the MSM honed the long knives.

Third party canidates became known as spoilers with the help of the MSM, the conservitive base retreated behind lines of the Republican Party just like all good children should, further insuring divide and conquer tactics would triumph. Fear mixed with the desires of best intent being bestowed upon the party by the base sealed the parchment of true desire.

The Demorats have contiued to keep their children in line by daring the children to bite the hand that feeds them.

Controlled debates are just another tool to keep the status quo from falling apart.

    Yatzee, we win!

    Thanks for the post chloe24.
