    They have since backed away from this position. I suspect in response to many, many phone calls, mine included. Mind went something like this: "no wonder people watch Fox."

    I imagine the fact that the local NBC, ABC and Fox News affiliates made no such commitment may have something to do with their backing away. Kirk and the Republicans have received a ton of free publicity because of this CBS affiliate's actions, not only locally, but nationally as well. If there was anyone in Illinois not aware of Alexi Giannoulias' involvement with the failed bank, they surely must know it now.
