I obtained a home telephone number from V---on in October 2009. The previous owner of this telephone number put that as his contact on his Census Form, just to be a smart aleck, I am sure. I have received no less than NINE phone calls from the Bureau demanding that certain questions be answered immediately. I tried every time to tell them I wasn't this person, but they insisted that yes I was, and if not that I MUST find him. BTW, I am a female. They insisted that the phone number was attached to an address different than mine and they refused to be dissauded! This was the Detroit office!! After the ninth call I asked the interviewer why this single person was SO important to the government. I mean, come on, 9 calls?? Finally, I had to resort to changing my phone number, at my cost, to avoid the endless torment from these thugs!

Census Employee Takes Issue With Bob Barr’s Statements

Bob Barr recently wrote an article, which we reported on here, which stated that census workers could enter your home or apartment without your permission if you were not home at the time that they came by. Sandy Smith, a currently employee of the Census Bureau, takes issue with Barr’s statements.
