ACORN money still included in Bush/Paulson bailout scheme

A report on Fox News yesterday said that funding for ACORN, a highly questionable organization that has been accused of voter fraud on numerous occasions, still stands to gain big time if certain provisions aren't culled from the massive Wall Street taxpayer shakedown bill. Are you sure? I've been googling and found nothing that states that the Senate bailout bill has the ACORN payoff.

I thought it was taken out.

I suspected as much. There was no way ACORN, La Raza and other special interests were going to be denied their "entitlement" in this bailout.

Look for the loopholes.....they're in there someplace.

The ONLY way we could have been halfway sure that they would not benefit would have been language specifically denying monies to these kinds of special interests.

And apparently, no one had the "acorns" to demand that.

This is treason...I am with wreath, I think they are still in hidden in something else!!

If anyone was paying attention, I posted several times that members of the BCC, civil rights activists, and a few others, were busy assuring audience members, at some forum last week, that these special interests were "working closely with Congress" to guarantee that "significant amounts" of any bailout package were funneled to these special interests.

Not only that, they are not only going to continue these lending programs but there is talk of EXPANDING them.

I kept saying it.....unless language was inserted into this thing which specifically denied monies to these groups, it was going to be snuck in there someplace.
