Charges Made for Sexual Assault and Robbery
Detectives arrested two men for allegedly robbing a man and sexually assaulting a woman. The victims were walking in the 3400 block of Lake Street on Saturday, July 7 at about 2:10 a.m. A group of men approached the couple, punched the 22-year-old Falls Church-area man and robbed him of his cellular phone and cash. The woman, 31, of Falls Church was grabbed, taken behind a building and sexually assaulted. Officers in the area were flagged down by the victims and detained possible suspects. Both victims received minor injuries. The investigation continues.

Detectives arrested Luis Armando Galo Lainez, 21, 6005 Knollwood Drive, Falls Church and charged him with rape, sodomy and abduction. Jose Abraham Guardado Garcia, 20, 6030 Vista Drive, Falls Church was arrested and charged with robbery. Both were transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center.
