The surviver thread is very good. Although I wish you would have included my biggest fear, which is how to fend off an attack by zombies.

The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have released a report on how to prepare for the zombie apocalypse.

In a blog post, Rear Admiral Ali S Khan, assistant surgeon general and director of the Office of Public Health Preparedness and Response, provides a brief history of the zombie and explains the dos and don'ts of coping with the phenomenon, which has morphed from its origins in Haiti and New Orleans voodoo culture – where innocent people were hypnotized by sorcerers – into a recurring movie plot where reanimated corpses serve the undead.

The former is not that much of a big deal – those zombies are just like Apple fanbois, which are harmless – but Khan insists that the latter is a cause for concern. "The rise of zombies in pop culture has given credence to the idea that a zombie apocalypse could happen," he says. "In such a scenario, zombies would take over entire countries, roaming city streets eating anything living that got in their way. The proliferation of this idea has led many people to wonder 'How do I prepare for a zombie apocalypse?'"

Admiral Khan was not at liberty to discuss the secret plans the US government has for nuking zombies as they attack cities, but he did want to make sure we all know what we can do to survive should an Ataxic Neurodegenerative Satiety Deficiency Syndrome break out in our neighborhoods and towns.

As it turns out, you pack a bag. Including a towel.

Specifically, that bag includes non-perishable food, medicines and a first aid kit, important ID documents, clothing and bedding, a utility knife, duct tape, a flashlight, soap, a change of clothes, and bedding of some sort (space age blankets fold up small). You will need a gallon of water a day, which is a bit hard to carry, but it sure beats drinking water contaminated with the bodily fluids of former friends and family members. You should also pick two meeting places, one close to home and one far away, to rendezvous after hacking your way through waves of the undead.

The other option to fighting zombies is to live off grid in Canada, far away from a potential outbreak, huddling by the radio with a flamethrower. Or just absorb the radiation and taste the solanum virus.

The only thing more annoying than zombies are teenagers, a plague of which Admiral Khan and the CDC do not have the resources to handle. None of us do, really. And let's not even think of the damage that the real zombies of Planet Earth – the Baby Boomers – are getting set to do as they retire and slurp the remaining flesh off the thin bones of the Western economies. ®

They are only informative until you check out the source. His sources are unrealiable and have too much misinformation-- sort of like the Dems Mediscare tactics. I simply make it a point to never read anything he posts as i have learned after careful research that it is so much garbage.

(mod edit). If you think he is wrong, post a link proving it. You just keep rambling on ....Sapper posts silly stuff,,, Sapper posts garbage. I dont see that at all. And you are taking atention away from my zombie problem.

Ok folks, I want everyone here to listen to what I say next very carefully.

Here in the open source section of ALIPAC, we have lots of information from lots of sources posted.

We encourage and even expect our activists to look into the materials and challenge the materials.

We see a lot of disinformation and propaganda out there.

Just look at the highly biased and inaccurate information we have seen being distributed to the nation via The New York Times, the Washington Post, and USA Today, along with the Associated Press!

It is important for each of you to point out problems with sources, problems with reports, statistic and polling claims, everything!

Problems come in from Bloggers as well. ALIPAC used to shut down a lot of very inciting stuff coming from that racist blogger Hal Turner. He kept making claims of evidence for the Amero coins and other North American Union related stuff. Turns out he was on the payroll for the FBI and floating this misinformation for them!

1. Don't take material you post that you did not write too personally or as a reflection of yourself. You can defend the works you post, but don't take them personally unless you wrote them.

2. Watch the language you use when addressing others or the work of others here at ALIPAC. Your goal is not to offend, your goal is to clarify or correct.

Please do not use words like 'silly' or other terms that are not friendly.

We are all supposed to be on the same team here... the AMERICAN TEAM and we need each of you to exercise maximum respect and compassion for each other on our site.

So let's all agree to cool it down and keep it highly professional please.
