Obama and The Joker... So Much More than a Poster

As the nation braces itself for yet another Barack Obama speech on health care, the general public is slowly starting to catch on as to what this man is all about. Associations that were dismissed during the presidential campaign are beginning to sink in with the American people.

Remember John McCain mentioning terrorist Bill Ayers or America-hater Jeremiah Wright? The voters were not paying attention. Add to that the fact that McCain seemed to regret saying anything about the "real" Barack Obama for fear of hurting Obama's feelings, and one can easily see that Obama's circle of friends and influencers was a non-issue. Not any longer...

Anyone who knows me knows that I'm a movie buff. The quotes and scenes from movies so often reflect what is going on in society. One line in particular always reminds me of Obama, and it was spoken by Bruce Waynes' butler Alfred in reference to The Joker:

"In their desperation, they turned to a man they didn't fully understand."

The line is telling because I believe it accurately describes the state of the American people going into the 2008 presidential election. They felt beat down. They had not changed their beliefs, but they felt that no one in government was delivering what he or she promised. Then along comes a man who offered hope and change. He said to judge him on the company he keeps, and he paraded forth a series of respectable associates and endorsements. Those people are now nowhere to be seen. His real associates are making their mark, and the American people are seeing that "in their desperation, they turned to a man they didn't fully understand."

Van Jones is a Marxist. He is a friend of Obama. Wright served as Obama's mentor for decades. Terrorist Williams Ayers and Obama worked on education policies together. All of this shows the type of person Obama is.

Does he just want to watch the world burn? No. But he does want to transform the country along his socialist beliefs, and he is pushed hard to do it. His health plan shows just how far he wants to go in taking power away from the people and putting it into the hands of government. The curriculum originally distributed to schools told educators to discuss with students ways they can help the president.

On Wednesday night, Obama will give his umpteenth speech on health care. But have the American people seen enough? Have they yet realized what Obama is all about?

Most Americans don't want to pay for health care for illegal aliens as Obama's plan would provide. Most people don't want his health care plan at all.

They are seeing that the real Obama is offering a "change" they did not bargain for.... a "change" they did not fully understand. It's called Marxism, folks! All of Obama's friends believe in it. The American people are finally seeing that Obama does too.
