Cops probe package sent to state senator

ALBANY -- The State Police are investigating a suspicious package sent to the Albany office of state Sen. Greg Ball, R-Patterson, who convened a controversial hearing last week on post-9/11 emergency preparedness and Islamic radicalization.

The package, which arrived Tuesday, contained "a vial with an unknown substance in it, and a letter containing numerous racially charged and anti-Semitic statements," according to a statement from police. The Albany Fire Department Hazmat secured the package and took it to a Department of Health laboratory for analysis.

Ball released a photo of the letter and a stuffed monkey decorated with Stars of David and sign reading, "Destination ... Auschwitz." The letter is signed by Jameela Barnette of Marietta, Ga. Someone by that name is active spreading the same kind of rhetoric on several websites.

U.S. Rep. Peter King, who presided over recent congressional hearings into radicalization within the Muslim community, was subsequently sent a package containing a pig's foot and an anti-Semitic letter. King offered testimony at Ball's hearings.

"I am confident this is in good hands," Ball said in a statement before plugging his next set of hearings.

I received this letter today from a Muslim named Jameela who claims to be the author of the ORIGINAL LETTER MAILED TO REP. PETER KING. Don’t know whether it is or isn’t. Sure sounds like something a raghead would send King. And another reason why King should continue to hold Congressional hearings on Muslims in America.

Wonder what they did to her brain? This kind of mindset is frightening!

In the video the woman says that NO ONE has contacted her. where is the DOJ? There are rumors that they don't deal with this sort of hate speech of the perpetrator is of a particular race.
