Climate 'czar' says hacked e-mails don't change anything

Obama administration climate czar Carol Browner on Wednesday rejected claims that e-mails stolen from a British university show climate scientists trumped up global warming numbers, saying she considers the science settled.

"I'm sticking with the 2,500 scientists. These people have been studying this issue for a very long time and agree this problem is real," said Ms. Browner, who President Obama has tapped as his chief of policy on global warming.

The e-mails were hacked from the Climate Research Unit at the University of East Anglia and have come to light over the last week. They appear to show scientists saying they've smoothed over data that doesn't back up their claims of warming, and pondering how to freeze out scientists who disagree with them.

Release of the e-mails has fueled skeptics ahead of next month's major global warming meeting in Copenhagen, which is supposed to set the framework for a new global treaty to restrict greenhouse gas emissions.

The White House said Wednesday that Mr. Obama will personally travel to Copenhagen to commit the U.S. to greenhouse gas reductions.

The e-mails remain a point of debate, with skeptics pointing to several data sets that show the last few years have actually seen a cooling effect.

Sen. James Inhofe, Oklahoma Republican, has called for an investigation into the e-mails, and says they confirm his long-held suspicion that climate claims are not supported by the actual data.

Ms. Browner said the only people who still doubt global warming is happening and that humans are to blame are "a very small group of people who continue to say this isn't a real problem, that we don't need to do anything."

She also said the e-mails are only trickling out, and that the entire set hasn't been released.

Ms. Browner initially shrugged when asked about the e-mails, saying she didn't have a reaction. But when a reporter followed up, she said she will stick with the consensus of the 2,500 climate scientists on the International Panel on Climate Change who concluded global warming is happening and is most likely being pushed by human actions.

I don't know about you guys but I am sick of these politicians and Czars flipping off anyone that does not agree with them. I am sick of them trying to tell us we cannot think and we are just supposed to take their word at everything! Well if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck it is a DUCK!

They have been studying it a long time because they get large grants from vested interests to conduct "scientific studies and analyses" whose results favor the special interests. Hence the need to cover up, doctor or otherwise discard any data that does not support their pre-determined outcome. The truth is that no climate expert, scientist, or what ever can establish as Scientific Fact that global warming is anything other than the normal cycles of nature. Everything from strong hurricanes, weird weather, rising seas and increasing sea water acidity has a natural explanation that makes a hell of lot more sense than cows breaking wind and man-made CO2 emissions.

This is a scam to burden the US taxpayers and consumers with not only enormous tax increases, but significantly higher cost for everything that requires energy to produce it, package it, deliver it, sell it, run it and maintain it. Doesn't leave out many goods and services does it? This is part of Obama and the far left's plan to redistribute US wealth.

Who gets the redistributed wealth?

1. Third world countries. We can see how effective that will be. 90% will go into the hands of dictators, thugs, and crimelords. How much of the hundreds of billions of dollars in foreign aid that we have given over the years actually got to the hands of the average citizens of these countries? It is a cruel joke.

2. Middle men, vested interests.

3. Politicians and their supporters

4. Potential voters (in this case, potential Democratic Party voters). Obama and his communist cell will divert huge sums of the increased taxes, etc. to buy bloc votes from groups who receive or benefit from these funds.

5. The United Nations and its merry band of bandits. They also fit into 2 and 3 above, and some also fit into 1 above.

6. Scientists, Universities, and Institutes that will get grants to continue spewing out pablum labeled as scientific research, and new theories that do not even qualify as hypotheses to keep the scam going.

These COMMUNIST America-hating 'czars' have an agenda: destroy America - and by-golly-gee, the facts are Not going to get in the way!!
