Ron Paul: Libya Airstrikes Unconstitutional – Only Congress Can Declare War http://paul.house.gov/index.php?option= ... 6:speeches
Mr. Speaker: I rise to introduce a resolution expressing the sense of the Congress that the President is required to obtain in advance specific statutory authorization for the use of United States Armed Forces in response to civil unrest in Libya. As many in the administration, Congress, and elsewhere clamor for the president to initiate military action to support those seeking to overthrow the Libyan regime, Congress sits by, as usual, pretending that Article I, Section 8 of the US Constitution does not exist. According to this long-ignored section, ‘‘The Congress shall have Power To declare War, grant Letters of Marque and Reprisal, and make Rules concerning Captures on Land and Water.â€Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

Regardless of Ron Paul statements, (U.N. Security Council) has every right to interact when a Country leader grants authorities to have deadly assaults/ crimes committed against citizens, innocent civilians by armed forces as currently occurring in Libya. That is not a United States war, it is a United Nation war, which means all Countries involved war.
Libya No-Fly Zone Approved By U.N. Security Council.
UNITED NATIONS — Moving swiftly in response to a request by Arab nations, the U.N. Security Council on Thursday paved the way for international air strikes against Moammar Gadhafi's forces, voting to authorize military action to protect civilians and impose a no-fly zone over Libya.
The council acted five days after the Arab League urged the U.N.'s most powerful body to try to halt Gadhafi's advancing military and reverse the realities on the ground, where rebels and their civilian supporters are in danger of being crushed by pro-government forces using rockets, artillery, tanks and warplanes.

Congress should focus on writing in new laws that will make this Country safer from illegal invasions of undocumented immigrants. When you aid and support criminals, you live a criminal life style yourself:

Who gives a rats ass what the U.N. Says or wants; Our POTUS does NOT have the Powers of a King
and if he is dillusional enough to think he has then he needs to be kicked to the curb and put in the Un-employment line
ONLY Congress can authorize and pay for War
and second ~ I aint paying for this shit; If the the U.N. wants a War they can pay 100% of Fuel, food, armiments ... 100% of everything or it can take its broke ass to skid row like every other country in the worldJoin our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

I'm so POed about this. Obama is using Libya to try and get a bump in the polls for his presidential run in 2012. The campaign election cycle begins around May 2010.
We should stay out of it.
Gadfly is a wacky oppressor, who spends money on clothes like Imelda Marcos and his people can deal with him. It's none of our business.

Pisces, the Constitution was around before the UN.
Obama has no right to go in and make this kind of decision without the approval of congress, who acts as our representation in this process, you know "We The People"?.....
The UN needs to be booted out of our nation and we need to tell them to take a hike and not look back, same for Obama.
No matter how bad it is over in Lybia, we should not be over there and should not be doing anything since this is Lybias problem, it is not on our shores, nor has anyone from Lybia done anything towards the U.S.."In the beginning of a change, the Patriot is a scarce man, Brave, Hated, and Scorned.
