An FBI wanted poster describes Robert E. Crimo III as a thin White male with brown eyes and neck-length brown hair, weighing 120 pounds. The poster also describes his tattoos: “four tally marks with a line through them on his right cheek, red roses and green leaves on his neck, and cursive script above his left eyebrow.”
The poster describes him as “armed and dangerous.”

Crimo is also known as “Awake the Rapper.”

IMDB describes Crimo as a “six foot Hip hop phenom” born on Sept. 20, 2000. “He’s the middle child of three and of Italian descent.”
Crimo began uploading his music to the internet at age 11, but first gained traction with his 2016 track “By The Pond” featuring Atlas, according to IMDB. His estimated net worth is “$100 thousand.”
Crimo is the son of Bob Crimo, president at Bob’s Pantry & Deli in Highland Park. According to his Facebook account, the father ran for Highland Park mayor in 2020.
The rapper released a cryptic track called “Are You Awake” on Oct. 15, 2021. The track appears to suggest that Crimo was planning a life-defining act beyond his ability to stop. The video includes drawings of a man aiming a rifle at another person.
The video also includes an image of a newspaper clipping about Lee Harvey Oswald, who assassinated President John F. Kennedy, and another image of a victim shot with blood spraying from the body.

This morning The Gateway Pundit has uncovered information indicating Crimo is a radical progressive with ties to Antifa, progressive groups, and the occult.
Looking over information that was collected following the deadly shooting, the Highland Park 4th of July parade killer, Bobby Crimo, has a very dark background.

We reported on the shooter yesterday when he was confirmed as a person of interest.

Crimo also has ties to Antifa. In one picture on social media, he shares his dark Antifa outfit.



Throughout his social media posts he shares Antifa and progressive symbology.


Evidence reveals Crimo is not a Trump supporter. He makes fun of Trump and his followers in his social media posts. Crimo attended a Trump event dressed up as ‘Where’s Waldo’ outfit. This appears to be sarcasm and an attack on President 45 who may also be President 47.
His social media posts appear as if he wants to kill President 47.



Crimo’s work is also very dark. He uses an icon throughout his social media.

Update (1950ET): The suspected gunman who killed 7 people in the Independence Day parade attack in suburban Chicago legally bought two high-powered rifles and three other weapons, despite having had knives confiscated in 2019 after he threatened suicide and violence, according to police.
21-year-old Robert "Bobby" E. Crimo III was charged with seven counts of first-degree murder on Tuesday for the shooting, and "dozens of more charges" are anticipated according to Lake County State’s Attorney Eric Rinehart.

The death toll in Monday's 4th of July parade shooting in Highland Park, Illinois has risen to seven, after more than 70 shots were fired into the crowd.


According to a Tuesday statement by police, the shooter - believed to be Robert Crimo III - was able to initially evade capture by dressing as a woman to blend into the fleeing crowd.

During a Tuesday morning press conference, Christopher Covelli, Lake County Major Crime Task Force spokesman, said that 21-year-old Robert “Bobby” Crimo III purchased the rifle used in the mass shooting through legal means. He was arrested approximately eight hours after the shooting, while a second gun was found in his car following the arrest.

According to Highland Park Police Commander Chris O’Neill, the gunman was perched on a rooftop and was "very difficult to see," adding that the rifle was recovered at the scene, along with a ladder attached to the building.
Crimo reportedly planned the attack weeks in advance according to police (or anyone who watched his music video depicting a mass shooting). There is no indication that the shooting was racially motivated.

Crimo, who goes by the name Bobby, was an aspiring rapper with the stage name Awake the Rapper, posting on social media dozens videos and songs, some ominous and violent.
In one animated video since taken down by YouTube, Crimo raps about armies “walking in darkness” as a drawing appears of a man pointing a rifle, a body on the ground and another figure with hands up in the distance. -Press Herald

Federal agents are reviewing his internet footprint - while a preliminary examination of his internet history suggests he was researching mass killings, a law enforcement official said.
Crimo also 'liked' several tweets advocating for the imprisonment of pro-J6 Republicans, with the hashtag "ArrestThemAll."


CNN, meanwhile, is taking this whole thing very seriously.

The Highland Park Fourth of July shooter was indicted on 117 counts on Wednesday.
22-year-old Bobby Crimo shot 30 people, 7 fatally, at a Highland Park Fourth of July parade earlier this month.

Crimo was known to law enforcement before the mass shooting.
The police were at Crimo’s residence twice – once for a suicide attempt and once to remove knives because of a murder threat to his family.

Sgt. Christopher Covelli of the Lake County Major Crimes Task Force told reporters earlier this month that police had been at his home one time after he was threatening to kill family members.
Police removed 16 knives, a dagger and a sword.

Bobby Crimo’s arraignment is set for August 3rd, according to ABC News.

The young man accused of carrying out a mass shooting at a suburban Chicago Fourth of July parade, killing seven people and injuring dozens of others, has been indicted on 117 counts, prosecutors in Lake County, Illinois, said Wednesday.
Robert “Bobby” Crimo III is charged with 21 counts of first-degree murder (three counts for each victim) as well as 48 counts of attempted murder and 48 counts of aggravated battery with a firearm (for each person hit by a bullet, bullet fragment, or shrapnel), prosecutors said.
“Our investigation continues, and our victim specialists are working around the clock to support all those affected by this crime,” Lake County State’s Attorney Eric Rinehart said in a statement.
Authorities said they believe the mass shooting had been planned for weeks.

Crimo told police he wore women’s clothing during the shooting and used makeup to hide his facial tattoos and blend in with the crowd during the chaos, prosecutors said. Crimo was apprehended hours later and prosecutors said the 21-year-old confessed to the shooting.
After the shooting, the suspect’s father, Bobby Crimo Jr., told ABC News he was “shocked,” adding, “I had no — not an inkling, warning — that this was going to happen.”
