A Colorado man wanted for a murder in Denver was captured crossing into the United States at the Paso Del Norte bridge on Tuesday after U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers determined he had an outstanding warrant for homicide, officials said.
Joel Flores, 26, was captured at about 8:20 p.m. when during pedestrian inspection he presented his Colorado drivers license to customs agents and said he had nothing to declare, officials said.

Officers used the Integrated Automated Fingerprinting Identification System to confirm Flores' identity, who was taken into custody and was held at the El Paso County Jail.

Flores' apprehension is the third murder suspect arrested by Customs and Border Protection officers during the past month.
