Fox Host: ‘All Hell Could Break Loose’ On November 1st

Fox News’ Neil Cavuto thinks the Department of Homeland Security’s $80 million outlay on armed guards to protect government buildings is directly connected to food stamp cuts set to take effect on November 1st, a day on which all hell could break loose.

As Infowars first reported on Monday, the DHS announced its intention to hire a raft of new armed guards to prepare for “public demonstrations” and “civil disturbances” in upstate New York, adding that some of the guards would be posted outside IRS facilities.

Covering the story on his Fox News show, Cavuto said, “November 1st could be a very very iffy kind of a day….this could be all hell breaks loose day,” noting that the armed guards were not to protect government buildings from terrorist threats but “From American citizens because on November 1st the food stamp program is set to start decreasing the amount that is allocated to food stamp recipients….and they’re worried that violence will ensue.”

Cavuto’s concern that the cut in food stamp benefits could spark violence is legitimate given what happened when the EBT card system crashed for just hours earlier this month, prompting mini-riots and looting at several Walmart stores.

A scheduled cut in food stamp benefits which most Americans are seemingly unaware of threatens to cause unrest next month when families will be hit with a $36 dollar per month reduction in credits.

Cavuto’s guest Niger Innis, National Spokesperson for the Congress of Racial Equality, labeled the prospect “frightening,” adding “We are on a slow march to becoming Greece,” while blaming the fact that some 50 million Americans’ are dependent on food stamps on big government’s failure to spark a proper economic recovery.

Innis said that food stamp riots may not occur this cycle, but that they were a real threat for the future and that America was heading towards a European-style socialism where the population embraced an entitlement mentality, and that Americans should be “liberated” from their dependency on welfare.

The notion that Homeland Security is preparing for riots is an admitted fact. In June, it emerged that the DHS was purchasing top of the range body armor and helmets for FPS (Federal Protective Service) guards as part of preparations for “riot control situations.”

The federal agency also ran a controversial drill last year dubbed “Operation Shield,” during which FPS agents armed with semiautomatic guns were posted outside a Social Security office in Florida.

The Founders Understood The Dangers Of Welfare And Redistribution Schemes

The Federal government has spent about $3.7 trillion on various welfare programs over the past five years. This is combined with more than $200 billion in welfare programs contributed by the States.
According to a recent CATO study, the average household in the District of Columbia receiving the six largest benefits received Federal welfare with a cash value of $43,000 per year. In Hawaii, a family receiving the same benefits would have received $49,000. Not even socialist Great Britain paid out that much in comparable benefits per family.
Welfare benefits long ago reached a point at which it’s more beneficial to not work and continue receiving government largess than it is to seek employment. It has created a massive and ever growing dependent class that is bankrupting the country.
The Founders understood well the dangers of welfare programs and redistribution schemes.
“Repeal that welfare law, and you will soon see a change in their manners. St. Monday and St. Tuesday, will soon cease to be holidays. Six days shalt thou labor, though one of the old commandments long treated as out of date, will again be looked upon as a respectable precept; industry will increase, and with it plenty among the lower people; their circumstances will mend, and more will be done for their happiness by inuring them to provide for themselves, than could be done by dividing all your estates among them,” wrote Benjamin Franklin.
He also said: “I am for doing good to the poor, but I differ in opinion of the means. I think the best way of doing good to the poor, is not making them easy in poverty, but leading or driving them out of it. In my youth I travelled much, and I observed in different countries, that the more public provisions were made for the poor, the less they provided for themselves, and of course became poorer. And, on the contrary, the less was done for them, the more they did for themselves, and became richer.”
And James Madison, the author of the Constitution, told the House of Representatives that welfare is not the duty of the Federal government. “[T]he government of the United States is a definite government, confined to specified objects. It is not like the state governments, whose powers are more general. Charity is no part of the legislative duty of the government.”

A few weeks ago we saw what happens when the Electronic Benefit Transfer system is threatened in any way. When access to food stamps went offline for just a few hours, the masses began to panic in what were essentially isolated hot spots where law & order totally broke down.

This Friday, because of guidelines set forth in the American and Recovery Investment Act, the 48 million Americans receiving nutritional food assistance from the government are going to see cuts to their monthly distributions.

According to the USDA, the average monthly food benefit for an American family is about $272. Come November 1st, that will be reduced by $36 – or about 13%.

Now, that may not seem like a big number, until you consider that the people depending on these distributions are already struggling to put food on the table and keep a roof over their heads.
The government is, in essence, reducing their food availability by 13% overnight.

Most people aren’t even paying attention, but one organization certainly is, because they know exactly what can happen when you start taking food out of peoples’ mouths.

The Department of Homeland Security is spending $80 million on a wrath of armed guards to protect the IRS and other government buildings in New York, not from terrorist threats mind you, but from American citizens because on November 1st the food stamp program is set to start decreasing the amount that is allocated to food stamp recipients… and they’re worried that violence will ensue.

If we do not radically change our economy and revamp so that those nearly 50 million people have an opportunity to be liberated from food stamps to get $75, versus $70, versus $65. What these people need is economic opportunity and a good job so they can put food on their own table.

You know, the slaves had food stamps too. It was called scraps from mazza’s table… we have a crisis within our country right now when you have 50 million people, nearly the entire West Coast, on food stamps.

That’s the real outrage.



While we don’t anticipate any serious riots or violence following the food stamp cut backs, this shows in unambiguous detail what the government and the Department of Homeland Security have been planning for.

For years they have been simulating the collapse of the U.S. financial system and its after-effects. And their simulations have concluded that any breakdown which leaves people without money, food, or access to government support will lead to widespread violence, looting and riots on the streets of America. The control grid has been put into place to handle what they know is coming.

Why else would they spend $80 million beefing up security to deal with the blow-back from this relatively minor food stamp cut?

Because they know what can happen – and they know what WILL happen!

They’ve spent billions of dollars stockpiling food, guns, ammunition, and militarizing our domestic police forces to deal specifically with riots and mass demonstrations.

We can pretend that FEMA refugee internment camps don’t exist, but any sensible police state would have designed, built and staffed these facilities well in advance as well.

The United States government, as well as governments around the world, are fully expecting that the game will soon come to an end and confidence in the entire global economic, financial, monetary and political systems will be lost.

And when that happens you can be assured that all of those supplies they’ve stockpiled will be used to support their policing efforts, not for the benefit of the people.

This means you and yours will literally be on your own and left to fend for yourselves.

It’s time to make and finalize preparations, because these are not the activities of a government expecting peace and stability.

They are expecting madness and pandemonium, so you’d better have your plans in place, including your food, water, gold, and other supplies that will help you survive when others will be left to deal with the horrific consequences.

This won’t be a short-term event, but rather, a sustained long-term decline that could potentially affect us for decades – thus we need to be thinking sustainability, and not just prepping for a single isolated emergency.

You best get ready. The government’s giving us a head’s up on what will soon come to pass.

(PAUL JOSEPH WATSON) — The CEO of the largest food bank in America has suggested that planned cuts in food stamp benefits set to take effect on Friday could spark riots.
“If you look across the world, riots always begin typically the same way: when people cannot afford to eat food,” said Purvis, adding that families face the “daunting” prospect of losing a whole week’s worth of food every month.Margarette Purvis, the president and CEO of the Food Bank for New York City, told Salon.com that the expiration of stimulus funds, which will see the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program reduced by $5 billion dollars, will have an “immediate impact” and represent a recipe for civil unrest.
The nationwide cut will take 76 million meals off the table of poverty-stricken New Yorkers alone, equating to about 16 meals a month for a family of three. The Center on Budget and Policy Priorities has labeled the cut to the SNAP program “unprecedented” in “depth and breadth.”
As we previously highlighted, even the mainstream media is invoking the threat of riots that could ensue as a result of the food stamp cut, with Fox News’ Neil Cavuto linking the issue to the Department of Homeland Security’s recent $80 million dollar outlay on armed guards to protect government buildings in upstate New York.
“November 1st could be a very very iffy kind of a day….this could be all hell breaks loose day,” warned Cavuto.
His concerns are not without foundation given that a glitch in the system which temporarily halted EBT purchases for just a few hours earlier this month led to looting and mini-riots at several Walmart stores.
Reacting to the downtime, food stamp recipients warned that if the glitch was to re-occur it would lead to Rodney King-style riots, a reference to the 1992 L.A. riots which resulted in 53 deaths, 2,000 injuries and over $1 billion dollars in property damages.

Democratic Lawmakers Warn U.S. May Fly Off ‘Food Stamp Cliff’ in Just Days

Democratic lawmakers in Congress are racing against the clock to pass legislation in time to prevent America from flying off what they are calling the “food stamp cliff.”

The “food stamp cliff” is the expiration of the temporary increase in funding to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) provided for by the 2009 stimulus bill that will expire at the end of October, according to The Hill’s Floor Action Blog.

If the increase is not renewed, a single adult’s benefits will reportedly be cut by $11 a month to a total of $189.

The “Extend Not Cut SNAP Benefits Act,” proposed by John Conyer’s (D-Mich.), would “amend the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 to extend the period during which supplemental nutrition assistance program benefits are temporarily increased.”

“The Nov. 1 cut will aggravate the problem of hunger in our nation, and make it that much harder for millions of Americans—fathers and mothers, children, veterans and active duty military to provide for their loved ones,” he said earlier this month, according to The Hill.

“The loss of SNAP will not just mean empty tables for Thanksgiving for millions; it will mean a weaker economy, even as the effects of our prolonged shutdown and debt ceiling brinksmanship continues to erode economic progress,” the Democrat congressman added.

House Republicans had removed funding for SNAP entirely from a farm bill passed in August.

At the time, Pelosi had pummeled conservative lawmakers, accusing them of taking “food from the mouths of children” in a “wrong-headed approach” to cut food assistance programs.
