Common Era CE Vs. After Death AD
I just noticed on Wikipedia that they use the term CE to denote years. CE means Common Era and it is the way they avoid using AD After death.
Thus we now live in the year of 2011 of the Common Era instead of the 2011 th year after the Death of our lord and savior Jesus Christ.
