Completely Off Topic: MLB vs Cable Companies

Is anyone else raging mad at the recent decision of the illustrious MLB Commish at excluding MLB "Extra Innings" from all cable companies nation wide? MLB Extra Innings will be exclusive to DirecTV, unless some kind of negotation can be drawn.

Apparently, the issue has attracted the interest of Congress with Senator John Kerry being the advocate. If I never liked the guy before, I will like him for the moment if he is able to influence the reversal of that decision.

    I want my MLB

Until I can pick and choose which channels I pay for I will NOT have cable/satellite.
Used to be before cable we all watched the national networks, we had a say in what was played over our airways, somewhat. Now we pay for channels we don't want and our regular stations are cow towing to Spanish speaking foreigners. I refuse to go along with it.

I agree. I won't pay to keep a lineup of channels of no worth to me or subsidize companies that program in foreign languages.
