Could This Be Why Obama’s Democrats Aren’t Worried About the Country’s Future?

…Because there may not be a future…if a new climate report is to be believed.
The massive climate assessment compiled by the government is due to drop tomorrow; and at more than 800 pages, it should produce a loud “bang” when it hits. The White House is already hinting at the the federal report’s dire predictions. According to an advance look provided by the (government-compliant/obedient) Associated Press:
The Obama administration will likely use the 840-page report as scientific justification to reduce emissions of heat-trapping gas from the burning of fossil fuels, such as coal, gas and oil and to encourage local communities to adapt to changes in the climate. White House counselor John Podesta called it “the most authoritative and comprehensive source of scientific information” on how climate change will hit all parts of the nation and the economy.
Oh boy, is this a set up for another frantic rush of Obama executive orders and heavy-handed bureaucratic maneuvers to impose burdensome environmental restrictions? Is that a serious question?
And get this — the unofficial Obama news network, NBC, broadcast an alarming report over the weekend touting droughts and floods and tornadoes and hurricanes and collapsing streets as omens of a disastrous future. Wait, collapsing streets? Youbetcha.
Believe it or not (it was an NBC News report, after all), the network news story opened with that sensational amateur video of the recent street collapse in Baltimore, suggesting this sort of freaky sinkhole event would repeat itself with ever greater regularity because of…you got it…MAN-MADE GLOBAL WARMING!
Oh well, any reason to re-play that incredible video is good enough for us:
